Cotton Underwear For Women

Hello, I love Abercrombie women's underwear, it was a 96% cotton, 4% spandex blend that was super-comfortable, cute and stylish, and came in a number of styles like boy shorts, high cut with ribbons on the side, etc. Since they no longer make them, I would appreciate knowing what other women like to wear that is comfortable, functional, and cute and stylish.

Hi, thank you so much for your answers. I actually have tried VS, and I don't like the cut and quality, other brand suggestions would be appreciated though, and I might try a pair of VS one more time.

I'm drafting a market research survey about a particular brand of women's cotton underwear. In one question of the survey, I'd like to get an idea of the respondent's use of "comfort" underwear vs. "fashion" underwear vs. "sport" underwear. Are those categories clear or should I categorize by the material used (silk, cotton, etc.). How would you refer to the different types of underwear that you use? Any help is appreciated.

"Period panties" unattractive cotton underwear thats easy to wash just in case..

"Comfort" regular shaped underwear that cover the butt by a decent amount, usually made of cotton or another soft material. boyshorts too

"Trendy" thongs and underwear meant to not be seen under clothes. no panty lines. may have a flashy pattern or design.

"Slutty" lace and crotchless panties. usually made out of silk or some other shiny material. can come with ribbon ties at sides making them easy to remove.

My friend does NOT wear underwear and thinks it is more hygienic to not do so. She claims even cotton underwear traps moisture and that can lead to infections. She swears since she has stop wearing underwear, her infection rate has practically ceased.

We both work in the medical field and at the moment we are at a standoff! Help! lol

I worked with a woman who had chronic infections, her doctor told her to stop wearing underwear and like your friend her infection rate ceased. I guess it's better for some women not to. I do, just because I would be uncomfortable if I didn't.

Is it healthy for women wear Nylon all the time and if it is why men do not wear nylon.

I buy my underwear from Victoria's Secret and it's almost all cotton. Women wear nylon underwear because it's not as detecable under clothing. It's probably not a good idea to wear nylon all the time. I have a good mix of cotton and nylon. I only wear nylon underwear with a tighter skirt or dress. My boyfriends boxers are all cotton because it's breathable and he doesn't need to worry about it showing through his clothes or anything.

I mean just one little boxer for women, or one brief is like $7 at Sears or Mervyns. It has no lace just cotton!

I mean it didn't take 9000 cotton weevils to make it.

I am finding tops at KMART or Mervns for $4-$5.

So why is underwear always expensive even more than nylon, or silk or anything else. I mean it's like a little rag?

Is it because we need it so much?

Cotton is in high demand. It is hard to find these days, with all the synthetics out there now!
Cotton has always made the best rags too! :D
