Thin White Cotton Socks

my girl friend wants me to wear thin black and white striped knee highs with my dr. marten boots. she said its not fair that only she wears those socks. I only sock i wear is thick cotton tube socks with my boots. I'm thinking those thin socks will create a stinky smell in my boots. Does anyone have any experience wearing thin socks with leather boots, and if so does it stink or smell?

I'm not sure what kind of socks those are but you can try some powder that they sell so your shoes won't smell. I am not sure of the powder's name but it's meant to keep your feet fresh and don't have that bad smell. can you send me a message please? I read more of your questions and I want to talk to you.

I could smell the strong aroma wafting up from my feet as I slipped off these old Puma Trainers!

my girlfreind wears thin socks that makes her feet stink for some reason. when she wears thick white cotton socks her feet don't smell that bad.

she probably thinks the thin ones are more comfortable

This week our office is closed while they fix the plumbing so I am working at my bosses house.

Since we are getting snow tonight I am sure i will be expected to leave my shoes at the door. I will be wearing designer jeans and a red sweater, and if it is too warm, i will have a white top underneath.

I was thinking I can wear thin black socks or a pair of new santa claus red socks I got for Christmas, Or O can go for function and wear warm white cotton socks.

I am usually self-concious about my feet, so which do you all think is the safest choice.

NOTE--I will be on the bus, so I dont want to lug an extra pair of shoes.

If your white warm socks are clean, like really white, no stains, I'd say go with them.

Depending on the seriousness of your job and your boss, you could go festive and wear your santa socks. It might even bring a few smiles.

If all else fails, just go with the black ones. They're simple enough, you can't see stains or wet spots on them, and they're business-like.

I am 14, and I'm going to be a freshman in high school in the fall. Me and my mom are having some disagreements on how I should dress, but I have to get what meets her standards because she pays for everything. Anyway, my mom loves the whole "preppy" look. My style is more bohemian/hippie-ish, but again, I have to get what she approves of. So, with that in mind, what do you think of this outfit....?

Hello??? I know this isn't a compromise. You can't really mix preppy and boho together anyways....but my mom is giving me a lot of money to spend for school shopping. I get to pick certain things i want, but she has to like them too.

unless a large portion of the people in your school show their status by decking themselves in logos, then this outfit is oookay. if not then this outfit is a no no.
honestly it looks like a full on going to go tennis outfit. NOT the first day of HIGh schOOL!!!! you can wear each peice SEPARATELY but dont wear it together!!
BUT if you must wear it, wear it. just lose the headband, and the socks. definitely. not going to even write about the purse.
