Soft Cotton Socks

i like to keep my feet in good condition.
ie; no callouses, baby soft etc.
but i am not sure which socks or materials would help keep them soft.
i currently wear white cotton socks.
but what are the best ones to wear.

cotton keep the ones you are wearing, and also moustierise daily that should help, hope it does ;)

I have one pair of socks that I stole (from my dad- who doesn't remember where he got them) that are the perfect pair. They are thin, soft, black, the bottom is padded, they don't come up high (so they don't bother my ankle) and they were inexpensive (I told you I got them from my dad, that is how I know they were inexpensive).
I can't find anything like them. It is driving me nuts. Probably a cotton spandex blend.... grrr...

Try checking out the socks in the mens department at Macy's or Nordstrom or even Ross or Marshalls.
P.S...I steal socks from my Dad too!!

I swear, every time I have cold feet I realise I am wearing fleece socks. Most ofmy socks are cotton and not a problem when I wear those, but when I wear my soft fleecies my feet turn into ice!

Because their is nothing trapping the warm air in the pockets in the fleece.....fleece socks are reknowned for having large air pockets in them and your feet warm the air in those pockets ...try wearing a pair of cotton socks over the top of them and I guarantee your feet will be warm......maybe too warm.....the trick afterwards is getting someone else to wash two pairs of sweaty socks

75% cotton, 22% nylon, 3% spandex.

I went to go buy some plain white socks today, and my choices were down to one where cotton was the main fabric and another where acrylic was the main fabric. The acrylic one was a dollar more, but I couldn't open the bags to see which one was softer.

Is one better than the other? (Actually, I don't know what acrylic is).

Cotton for sure. Hemp socks are much better if you can find them in this repressed country of ours.

i'm curious, because i do know that the skin absorbs whatever is on the surface while you sleep. i'm wondering if the lotion under the cotton bootie socks will make my skin look smoother, softer, and with a healthy glow. i heard about this, but has anyone ever tried it?
