Grey Cotton Socks

Im looking for a pair of all white cable-knit if you can find them but it can be rib-knit too over the knee socks. Im not looking for lycra or nylon socks, they can be cashmere, cotton, cotton blend/ cotton wool blend. I want a true over the knee sock not a knee sock that stretches to be otk. Is there any websites where I can find them?

Also Im wondering where i can find a pair of YSL charcoal gray knee socks I think they are ribbed, and have the logo on the top of the sock?

My hot sweaty damp cotton socks

I go to a catholic highschool, and alot of the girls dress up their uniform or try to alter it in a way to make it look a little cuter. I for one am known for being a trendsetter in some ways, and one trend I started was the wearing of band pins on my kilt instead of the enormous pin. Also i like to wear leggings instead of tights sometimes. My question is, would thigh high socks look good? I just bought a pair of cotton black ones today & their super-comfy but im not too sure if it would work with my uni.
heres the outfit i would wear them with:
-white short sleeve blouse
-navy sweatervest
-navy/grey plaid kilt
-black flats

any suggestions? ( :
i could also wear a navy golf shirt (longsleeve)
and we have a navy jumper too (minidress)

Well that's part of the point because its true prep attire...casual but with a dress, relaxed panache.

I very much like it! but i think chino's would look so much better but thats just my opinion. Also the tie is what holds it together very nice choice.

lol today i almost bought that cardigan in a boutique! but they frowned upon by my peers so i had to settle for a crew neck pull over :(

Hey all, I recently purchased a pretty tight collared shirt from Arizona Jean Co.....it is black and white horizontal stripes (with gray trim stripes between the black and white stripes)

My question is, how do I wash this shirt without the white stripes getting ruined?
Should I put the shirt in with my whites? (aka socks and white t-shirts)?

Or should I hand wash it (if so, how do you handwash clothes, I have never done that)

The shirt is 100% cotton and there are no washing instructions on the label.

If you had worn it you would know the color bleed by looking at your under garments they usually catch the color by sweat.Also check the white parts on the shirt if they are fine then wash them as you wash other clothes,if not then you can hand wash them.If you have a sink in your laundry room do in that or else in the kitchen.
You can take regular laundry detergent in water and dip the shirt in and then rinse clean.

My dress code is so strict and there are no loop holes that I have found so far so I'm stuck wearing the same thing as the rest of the school. It is so strict here are the rules.


Bottoms- pants, capris, shorts/skorts/skirts (to the knee). Can be khaki or black. Material: cotton/twill, denim, corduroy (NO spandex).
No oversized, tight fitting, bagging, sagging, or low rise (at least a 4-inch zipper) .No oversized, tight fitting, bagging, sagging, or low rise (at least a 4-inch zipper). NO cargo pockets, skinny pants.

Tops-short or long-sleeved crew-necked t-shirts, sweatshirts (pullover, hooded, or zippered), No undershirts. Colors: turquoise, black, gray. Materials: cotton blend, NO spandex. No oversized or tight fitting. No holes or tears. No layering with tanks or vests over a t-shirt, scoop or v-neck t-shirts, no bolero style, crop style shirts. No layering

Jackets: light weight jackets only. turquoise, black, gray (including the hood lining) .No patterns, stripes, writing, or fur trim. Logos must be smaller than a half-dollar coin.

Accesories-Solid school colors only (turquoise, black, or gray): visible knee socks, undershirts, and hair bows (maximum of two)
Belts: black or brown leather (leather-like) worn in belt loops with plain belt buckles, no initials or skulls.
Shoes/sandals: must have a back or back-strap
Not Allowed: scarves, neckties, extreme make-up, earrings greater than 1” in diameter, gloves, slogan buttons, stickers on clothing or face, bandannas, chains, pins, writing on clothing, studded items, necklaces 18” or longer, caps or hats in the building.

Hair- Natural colors only, including highlights. No artificial colored extensions.

So as you can see they are VERY strict. And it's really hard but if you would be able to find anything I could wear that would be AMAZING.

Oh yeah, and the spending budget, I don't really have one, when i find something I really like I buy it.(: But under maybe $100 for bottoms, under $30 for shirts, and accesories, have no budget.

Try shopping at stores like Forever 21, with a more classy and sophisticated style. That's where I bought all my clothes, because they adhere to MY strict dress code, and they barely cost anything. I highly recommend their dresses! Good luck Paula!
