Cotton Socks Yarn

The yarn is pink, yellow and orange. I'm not sure what to make. I bought it intending to make socks, but I couldn't find a pattern for worsted weight socks that doesn't come out humongous.
Anyway, Anyone have any good patterns? I have like four little skeins of this stuff and I don't know what to make. Suggestions please?

I'm planning on knitting some socks and the yarn I have is 100% cotton.... Are there any adjustments I should make to the pattern to account for shrinking?

Not usually pre shrunk. You could put the skein in a pillow case and wash and dry and it sill shrink what is going to. FYI!

My Gramma passed away a couple months ago and she was a big knitter. We have hundreds maybe even thousands of balls and skiens of yarn. My mom and I are having a yard sale to get rid of some of the stuff but we don't know how much is a fair price for it. There's all kinds, baby yarn, acrylic yarn, cotton, wool, polyester, mohair, silk, sock yarn, rug yarn. Some are brand new, but some are like little balls that are wound up in balls. If anyone can offer some advice or prices they feel would be fair I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

The mohair and silk yarn I usually pay about $2, a skein for the rest about 50 cents, the little balls throw in a box and sell by the bag, like 5 for a $1or more. This is what I usually pay for yarn in my area, somewhere else might be higher.

you could give me trademarks or the percentage of content, cotton and acrylic for example on the yarn, I need a slippers that' doesn't change during washing, solid ( I don't want it looks like socks) and soft for the skin... please help me

If you dont want the slippers to shrink in wash then your best bet would be acrylic yarn. If you are making them for youngsters or older people I would suggest spraying the bottom with dots of puff paint so they dont slip while wearing them. Are you planning on knitting or crocheting them? Are they for looks or warmth. All these things have to be taken into consideration. If they are just for show you could go with a fancier/softer yarn. If they will take walking abuse, then you will want to go with a worsted weight yarn.

I impulse bought some yarn for $.01 off of e-bay, and I'm quite pleased with my auction savvy, but now I have no idea what to do with it. The yarn in question is two skeins of machine washable royal blue 70% bamboo/30% cotton in fingering weight. I'm a fairly experienced knitter and crocheter, and I'd love a challenging pattern. I was thinking about making socks, but I'm worried that they won't keep their shape. Unless I find something, this lovely yarn is just going to become a bunch of dishrags. Help!

You don't say how much you have, yards-wise....
But I'd make a fall/spring cowl with it, so you wouldn't need to worry so much about shape, and the feel of the bamboo near your face would be heavenly.
