Cotton Socks Pattern

i bought several nylon ankle socks, but the sales woman said they are not breathable, and cotton socks are? but why is nylon so expensive ? i got 2 pairs for 9.99 and 2 cotton for 4.99? both are black socks and pattern on the toes and heels. reason i asking is because my daughter is such a fashionable girl and even the socks have to be good quality and nice looking ty.

I bought a sock cat off of etsy.com which was made from a regular pair of cotton women's ankle socks. I'd love to have a pattern so I could make them myself. I'm not smart enough to just look at it and figure out the measurements and pieces to cut. This has nothing to do with knitting. It's just two ankle socks like you'd buy at Walmart and some polyfil. Anyone have a pattern or can point me in the right direction?

I've never seen a sock cat, but have you tried the AllCrafts website? I think they allow questions like yours, people looking for patterns, etc. as well as offering patterns for crafts. I've made sock snowmen, but I'd like the cat pattern myself!

The yarn is pink, yellow and orange. I'm not sure what to make. I bought it intending to make socks, but I couldn't find a pattern for worsted weight socks that doesn't come out humongous.
Anyway, Anyone have any good patterns? I have like four little skeins of this stuff and I don't know what to make. Suggestions please?

I'm planning on knitting some socks and the yarn I have is 100% cotton.... Are there any adjustments I should make to the pattern to account for shrinking?

Not usually pre shrunk. You could put the skein in a pillow case and wash and dry and it sill shrink what is going to. FYI!

i go to college in PA, and REALLY need to do my laundry. but i have no idea how to sort it all and when to use bleach.

i have white t-shirts, pattern cotton boxers, and white socks i think they go together

black socks and black underwear i think those go together.

sheets and towels/washcloths i'm not so sure what to put them with.

jeans i'm also confused about as well.

and what does "wash with like colors mean" ?

PLEASE HELP I NEED CLEAN CLOTHES!

ok so you put:
~all the white stuff like under wear white sox umm things like that
~blacks browns reds and tans go with the "darks"
~ wash cloths and rowels go alone
~ sheets,quilts and pillow cases go together.
~ jeans go in one
~ and the "colors" go with green yellow purple pink orange blue and all the other colors
