Problem with new ice hockey skates hurting my feet?

I just bought a new pair of Nike/Bauer Vapour XXII ice hockey skates.

I used them twice, Friday and Saturday night. I know that because hockey skates have to be so tight, shortly after you start skating, they may be a little painful/tight but then it eventually passes for the session. At least that has been my experience in the past.

My new skates, on the left one, on the inner side of my arch, there is like this "bump" that presses right there much more than any other place and it gives me a nice blister. And the right skate does not do this a single bit. Could this be a random manufacturing error? Would getting a new left skate possibly fix this?

Also, I know that Nike/Bauer skates tend to run more narrow than other brands. Even on my right skate, although there is no extreme pressure point like the left, but it still squeezes my arches really good, and on my right foot after skating, the outside side of the arch felt as if it was bruised, I know it wasn't, that's just what I'm likening the pain to. When I push on the spot I feel the pain. More so than any time I've skated in the past (and I've been skating a long time). Even now, 14 hours later, if I'm standing and roll my right foot to the side (pronate it) it hurts.

So, like I said I've been skating a long time so don't give me stupid answers or any other crocks of crap. I just want to know if anyone else has experienced similar problems and how they fixed it. I plan on contacting Nike as well, see if they will send me a new left (or both) skates and if they think that will help.

Front-to-back size wise seems fine, does anyone think that going a half-size or one size bigger might aleviate the extreme arch tightness?

P.S. I had the skates baked once already. I can do it a second time if I so choose. And yes, I wear 2 pairs of socks, some thinner cotton ones, then thick wool (or other composite) ones over them, both mid-calf or longer.
Wow...both first 2 answers obviously didn't read the question. I said I already got them baked. And I said I've been skating for a long time and never experienced this. Don't tell me "get used to it." Stupid answers WILL get negative feedback.

As I stated, I've skated for a long time, so of course I'm used to the stiffness of skates. And of course I tried them on at a physical store before I bought them.

Maybe the store's baking procedure is whack, because they only had me wear the skates for 7 min after they heated them. Sit there for 5 min, then walk around for 2 min. I would have had to wear them a bit longer to notice how bad that bump really was. My brother who has the same skates claims that they made him wear his for like an hour when he had them baked (he bought from a different store).

I have had Nike Bauer skates and had the same problem. I have a wide foot and their skates are too narrow for my foot. So when I tried to skate in them it was crushing my arch and giving me blisters. Thats not a good thing. You want tight but not causing pain tight. I switched to CCM skates and didn't have a problem. Their skates are for a wider foot. I highly recomend the vectors V6, good price ($120?) I use mine 5+ times a week and haven't had that pain in my foot sense.
It could be a manufacturer error but you said your other foot hurt too which makes me think your foot is just a tad too wide for their skates. The skate boot is also very stiff, compared to CCM, Easton skates run even narrower that Nike Bauer, I could hardly get my foot in one of those skates.
As for the baking thing, I baked mine and then I had to sit in them for only 5 minutes. Theres no need to sit in them for an hour. Try different types of skates, blisters and hockey do not get along well.
As for 2 pairs of socks, thats a little much there. Your adding a lot of diameter to your foot with that. I wear easton skate socks in hot rinks (their really thin). And in colder rinks I wear under amour football socks (the really long ones they cover a large portion of my legs to keep them warm under gear.) the UA socks are good with absorbing moisture
Good luck!

apparition, ghost, what was this? demon spiritual warfare?

My husband and I had been living in our home for about 4 years. During that time, I would awake often at night and either see someone standing at the foot of my bed watching me, or standing in the doorway.

The figures would glow and had a transparent look to them.

I got so use to it, it got to a point that it wouldn't bother me as much as the first time, and I would go right back to sleep.

There was several occassions that 2 brother's dressed in matching outfits would visit during the night. I would awake to see them standing next to the doorway. They were well groomed, with what looked like Sunday's best outfits on (white cotton shirt, yellow and blue argyle vest, proper haircuts, shorts and socks that were pulled up over their calves, and loafers) -- maybe from the early 1980's ??

I had asked that they did not enter the room, since they wouldn't leave the house.

Finally, about a year later, I prayed to God that they leave once and for all. Since then, they have not returned and I am living in another home.

I have not had any other occurances for almost 3 years. I feel I was healed by the power of Christ's blood.

The images still remain, and I was wondering what the brothers would depict since it was a new home. Also, I saw several times some of the apparitions walk back into the hallway and sometimes into the adjoining bedroom.

It was very strange and bizarre. I am so thankful I do not have that happen to me anymore, but feel I was healed from these entities by Christ's blood.

I understand the question, which is valid and honest. One reason is I was investigating Buddhism and had several Reiki sessions. After that the spirits you described came to me as well. It was almost exactly as you described except for the brothers one.
Oddly enough I felt no fear and the apparition moved from the foot of my bed to my head. I addressed it directly and told it to leave b/c it wasn't welcomed. It did so but on the way out of the house it slammed a kitchen cabinet door closed. My roommates were not there so it was obvious the thing left angry.
After getting rid of all the Buddhist things my sensei gave me all paranormal events ceased. Something tried to crossover using you and myself as a conduit. I too am a Christian and don't fear the dark spirits. And YES you are healed by Christ's stripes.
I'd check your belongings for anything dealing with Buddhism or the occult you could have inadvertently acquired. I feel that the spirits either are trapped here and are drawn to us b/c of our own strong spirit. Seeing apparitions are not a cool thing to experience like these shows on television suggest. Just don't be scared of them.
Rebuke them in the name of Jesus Christ and don't allow them to draw your power. God Bless.

love your style, but maybe a bit to much chibi or saniro or w/e. I try to wear only one piece at a time involving an animal. for instance, my gir hoodie, my pikachu hat, my totoro converse, etc... kindof a bit of an overload if I wear more than one, try bermuda shorts with no patch, but I like pastel. it's gonna be hard to find a graphic tank, so go for tee instead, and if the shorts are solid colors, get a striped cardigan. try hot topic and urban outfitters
