Cotton Dress Socks

As far as when you have to wear dark socks because your wearing a suit, or dress pants and such. Also what to women like to see men wearing, the bulky cotton socks, or the smooth sleek nylon type dress socks??

I've been wearing these navy blue patterned dress socks for several days now; they are Unspeakably Rank and Sweaty!! So I decided to finally ...

Nylon, lycra, rayon, spandex mixes make my feet sweet and I don't like that, Any help is appreciated!
I have even seen bamboo socks but didnt buy them because i wasnt sure they would wick away moisture in my dress shoes- Fall is here and it was cold today. I would like a nice comfortable sock and my feet are worth $15 or less a pair to me, LOL

etsy.com has lots of hand made ones you can buy, also if you can craft you can swap on craftster.org for some that is what i do :)

But I am sitting at work and I had to take my feet out of my shoes because my feet are drenched in sweat.. What gives?? I thought cotton socks prevent this.. Is it my shoes?? I know the heel of my shoes are hard as a rock.. Could that be it??

I think you misunderstood people - cotton socks don't completely prevent foot sweating, but they absorb more sweat. You must be extra sweaty. Maybe try out some new shoes. Perhaps theres a glandular problem.

I've been reading some articles and they say that white socks aren't very fashionable. I'm intrigued and would like to try out their advice, but I don't know where to start. Would short, black, cotton socks be ideal for men? I'm talking with jeans and casual attire, not dress-up.

since when did any socks become fashionable?
they would be hidden under your clothing, right?

Ive bought socks from everywhere..even Gymboree and they wont stay on! I have one pair of Winnie the Pooh socks (its dress socks material not cotton) and it is the only one that will stay on! Thanks in advance :)

Wal-Mart Faded Glory bobby socks...the ones that fold over the ankle. Those are the ONLY ones that stayed on my daughter, and we're still using them!!

You can buy them in packs of 10, and in boy or girl colors or just plain white. They're super stretchy and fit snugly.
