White Cotton Mini Skirt

What top to wear with charcoal sequin mini skirt ? should it be white , grey ,black ,, cotton ,satin ???? please help

A cotton white top would work good so its not all a light or dark outfit, and pair it off with a big black belt.

What does the shirt look like(as in cut)? Also a knee length skirt is definitely not a mini-skirt.

Matching black pant set with heatseal dots at the bottom of hems.

It's for tomorrow. It's going to be a semi casual thanksgiving (casual, but not looking like i'm fixing to go jogging of shopping,lol). This is what i have so far:

A black and white checkered, ruffled, cotton, mini skirt
Black leggings for the skirt
Black, suede, wedge boots


What should the top be and what kind of jacket should i wear?
I have kinda a punk-ish style.
