Wearing a cotton pleated skirt?
aryan nahata

The skirt looks like this in (ARMY GREEN)
* http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I /yhst-7790797904336_1931_11411935

My problem is....
How can I keep the fabric from bunching up when I sit down and get back up?
How do I keep it from getting wrinkled?
Any ideas for what color shirts I wear with it?
I'll probably wear the skirt to school and I have no perticular ""look"" I'm going for.

You can sweep your hands underneath your skirt from the back of your skirt, towards the front whenever you go to sit down, in order to keep your skirt from bunching up. You can keep it from getting more wrinkled than neccessary by spraying on a product that Downey softener carries (it's a travel-sized bottle of anti-wrinkle softener that you spray on your clothes. You give a few tugs and wrinkles loosen up and are less noticeable. Plus, it gives you an added fresh scent!) :) If the skirt is army green in color, it would look nice with black if you're into "punk," with light blue if you're "preppy," white if you're just in a light, feel-good mood, or bright pink if you're feeling bold! :)

Best wishes

A knee-length skirt to disneyland?
My Girl Sunday Fabric Detail

I'm going to disneyland tonight, and I just realized none of my clothes or jeans are clean. (it's been a busy week), I've got cute sundresses and such, but they are too short, I don't like wearing short stuff to ride rides and such, plus it will get cold.

So do you think a knee length pleated cotton skirt and tee shirt would be appropriate?

I don't want to be too dressy. Thanks!

Honestly, I wouldn't wear a skirt or anything like that to Disneyland. If i were you, I would just find a pair of jeans that aren't dirty, then just wear them. You wouldn't want to be on a ride and have like the skirt get lifted by a strong wind. If you have a pair of leggings wear those with the skirt or sundress that would look really cute!

Hope I helped and have fun at Disney World!

Are my mini-skirts too small for me?
Vintage high waist floral printed FULL pleated Skirt

Hi i'm 21 and my bf has got some pleated elastic waist knee-length skirts for my birthday. The problem is i'm 5 f 6 and whenever I sit wearing these pleated cotton skirts without adjusting the backside/ pull the material near my skin, the backside of my skirts moves away from my skin and leaves a part of my bottom exposed to the chair when I sit. It gets a bit slutty sitting and feeling the chair on my bare butt. I told my bf and he said don't worry babe it's built that way you just have to get used to it. I haven't worn pleated skirts before so I don't know. Could you please clarify if you're a girl and you know?

well personally i wear miniskirts all the time and though it does feel weird, nobody says anything to me about it. you just have to get used to feeling the chair when you sit [haha] :p nobody will think of you as "slutty", skirts were built for comfort and to express and enhance your feminine side... and show a girls great legs.
