Plaid Cotton Skirt

im planning to go back to my own country next week, and im so confused on what will i wear with my black converse shoes, i already have a top, which is a white plaid shirt.
what is the most suitable thing to wear:
i have bluish-gray denim skinny jeans, plaid cotton skirt, blue-green skinny jeans, black skinny jeans, and denim shorts,

any suggestions?

I was just wondering, all the schools I know of have the ugliest uniforms! You know on TV, where there is the cute jacket and plaid skirt?(well not that cute, but not gross)
anyway, all the uniform schools around where i live wear a very unflattering white polo shirt and a cotton but knee length skirt. it's very ugly. What do your uniforms look like?

Grey/light blue plaid kilt, with burgandy and white plaid stripes.
Black knee socks and black dress shoes.
Short or long sleeved white dress shirt.
Tie (matches kilt colors).
Black Blazer
Burgandy sweater vest (optional)

the only thing I really have to wear to my school's Christmas dance is this dark green sort of plaid skirt. It's long and is made of a nice material - it's not shiny but not cotton or anything. I don't exactly know how to describe it. sorry if you can't really picture it! it's a pretty skirt but I need a top to wear with it. I'm thinking either black (like I said it's a dark skirt and there is some black in it) or white and I'm leaning towards white. any ideas of a (white) top that could go with this?

I like the whole vintage look, but not the stereotypical 50's retro look necessarily, more the distressed vintage look. I also am finding that I like the whole grunge look, also going along with the distressed theme. I like some of Abercrombie and Fitch's clothing as well as American Eagle and Hollister's, but not the preppy kind, more the distressed kind. I HATE emo, goth, and preppy looks. I LOVE Urban Outfitters. I really like the whole natural/neutral type of look (don't confuse it with boho) I also like to wear some guys clothing (:(:
Heres an example of what I would wear:
A distressed Abercrombie guy's t-shirt with skinny jeans and a pair of clogs. Or, a distressed forest green tee shirt under a natural-colored sweater with a cotton blue plaid skirt and tweed shoes. Sounds nasty, but its nice. Or, ripped jeans with leather flipflops and a dark colored tee.

i am going to be an incoming freshman in high school. as you can see this is my first year in high school. during middle school, i had a really boring sense of style. now, i want a whole new wardrobe. some of my clothes still fit, but they are far from cute. i want to get rid of my old clothes. where can i sell them to get money? and, what kinds of clothes should i buy? i am not rich at all, i mean like i always have to buy from clearance racks. so call me cheap. but i really do want a whole new wardrobe, i want completely new clothes, is that possible? i dont want anything reg priced that is like above 20 dollars for a single item.

here are somethings about me:

KEEP in mind that these things i listed are things i mostly like, not all of them, so try other things too.

this is like really hard. how do i convince my mom to let me change my style, sell my clothes and get new clothes? i mean the economy is like going downhill. and like i said i dont have alot of money.i dont think she would understand. so how do i convince her?

Its always fun to change your style. (:

I suggest that you could go to Plato's closet to get rid of all your clothes. Try there. They take gently used clothes and give you money for them. So if your clothes are still in good condition (dont have any rips, tears, holes, ect.) then they would probably take them.

Cargo pants, shorts, capris are ugly.
I dont think that you can find very many things from ae, pac sun, or urban behavior for under 20$. maybe you could find some things on the clearance racks.

The colors that would most flatter your features would be pastel colors such as lavender pale pink, seafoam blue, ect. Other colors would be olive green (looks amazing on darkish skinned girls), turquoise, and purple.

Makeup that would look good on your features would be maybe some black eyeliner on the upper lid, and some lightly on the lower lid. Black mascara, and a pale pink eye shadow.

Buy a couple pairs of skinny jeans, and buy a lot of ballet flats. They always look great together. also accessorize, buy some headbands.

You can always find good deals at aeropostale, rue 21, wet seal, old navy, and forever 21. I say buy a good bit of things there, and mix in some more expensive things from AE, hollister, and pac sun.
