I saw someone last night in a long cotton skirt and dark trainers. I would only wear trainers with a short skirt, think they look horrible with a below the knee skirt. (I normally wear birkenstocks). Anyone else got any views?

I need help! I was wondering if there is a solution to using knee long cotton skirts and stockings without having the skirt stick to my legs with every step I make.
