Delia's has lots of cute stuff and most of the dresses are very reasonably priced. Good luck!

Building a business casual wardrobe for women involves purchasing clothes like knee-length skirts and tasteful sleeveless shirts. Create a ...
I'm going to disneyland tonight, and I just realized none of my clothes or jeans are clean. (it's been a busy week), I've got cute sundresses and such, but they are too short, I don't like wearing short stuff to ride rides and such, plus it will get cold.
So do you think a knee length pleated cotton skirt and tee shirt would be appropriate?
I don't want to be too dressy. Thanks!
Honestly, I wouldn't wear a skirt or anything like that to Disneyland. If i were you, I would just find a pair of jeans that aren't dirty, then just wear them. You wouldn't want to be on a ride and have like the skirt get lifted by a strong wind. If you have a pair of leggings wear those with the skirt or sundress that would look really cute!
Hope I helped and have fun at Disney World!
It's not for beach but a shopping trip (Cos I have no other black skirt plus it's so comfy) and I dont have a clue what to wear! The weather here is pretty rainy despite it being summer so nothing too summery please thankyou!

Okay, this guy and I are very good friends online. He's taken, I'm not, and this is not a date or an attempt to take him away, I am just stopping by a park tomorrow where his band is playing to meet him (he knows I'm coming) and hear the show, m-a-y-b-e go for coffee afterwards. But I would like to make a good impression, as he works in clothing retail in his other job, and it may be the only time we meet, or only time for quite a while.
I am pretty but quite a bit overweight in the belly and thighs. What shall I wear?:
Matching medium-tones green and blue flowered blouse and skirt to ankles that I've had many compliments on?
Same blouse, knee length denim skirt?
Lighter blue print top that really sets off my blue eyes, one of my best features? Either of those tops and a navy cotton knee length skirt?
Please let me know which to wear. Guys' and girls' comments welcome. And, being that this is in a park -- flat sandals? Wedge heels? THANKS FOR THE HELP!! Can't wait to meet him!
Many thanks for your suggestions so far!
If you like him and he likes you, then wear something casual. I would suggest a knee length denim skirt and that medium tones green and blue flowered blouse. For shoes flat sandals. In my own opinion I would suggest dark bottom something a little lighter like in a blue color since it shows one of your best features. In general I think a V cut is always attractive.

Where did the difference start in men and womens clothing and how ...
Research and source article by Jerry Tubbs
(Ed. Note: This is a work in progress, and we are looking forward to being able to update this article.)
Little, if any, has been written on the subject of men’s clothing before, and during the early years of, the Republic of Texas. I am not saying what I present is indisputable fact, but merely a guide to what may have been worn during those days. As with most things, it’s best to start at the beginning, with the arrival of a gentleman in Texas.
The Wealthy
A man’s clothing would have reflected the social position of the person wearing them. Not all arriving were dirt-poor farmers, but just the opposite. Many were businessmen looking to invest in Texas lands. Some were lawyers, some doctors, and others opportunists trying to make a fresh start. These gentlemen of financial means would have been wearing clothes of fine fabrics. They may have possessed a large and varied wardrobe. With them they may have had cotton shirts as well as shirts made of linen. These shirts would have had ruffles at the neck and sleeves. Their waistcoats would have been made from silk damask or embroidered silk satin, rather than from wool, cotton, or linen. Their boots were made from the finest leather. Only the wealthiest could afford the lxury of having enough shirts to set one or two aside to be worn as a “night shirt”. Most shirts would have been worn during the day and then worn to bed that evening and still worn the following day.
