Black Cotton Skirt

I have a long black cotton skirt that I absolutely adore. Sadly enough it's fading and you can tell if I wear a black blouse with it that it doesn't match. Is there anyway I can restore it? Or will I have to try to dye with one of those kits from the store? And if so how hard is it?

Honestly none of dyes will restore to the orginal however to remove all the residues will darken the color. The answer is Oxi-clean. It doesn't make it any lighter but to remove the residues, soaps, etc.

My children wears uniforms to school and their pants are black.

thats not the skirt ^^ the one i have is a plain black cotton material.
something casual i can wear around my college campus.
i like to dress pretty bohemian or punk-rock, some call it "scene".

since it's plain and black you could prolly wear anything with it. maybe wear a cute tanktop with some long neclaces and a belt with the buckle to the side and maybe some cute high combat boot thingys and some braclets or instead of the neclaces maybe you could wear a cute scarf.

I really love pencil skirts (not the ones that go to your knees, the ones that are short lol) but I have no idea where to get one! I also want either a short sleeved white shirt or thick strapped white tank top to go with it. Any idea where I can get either of those items???

The place where I got mine was Charlotte Russe. They had several. I suggest going to your local mall and browisng through the stores. It took some time but my pencil skirt looks really cute. Another place you could try is lulus.com. Or go to google and type in short black pencil skirts. The white tops can just be found in any basic store they are easier to find then the pencil skirts.

But its HOT outside!
So i have white and grey and black cotton skirts i can wear.

(my dress code is 100% skirts only)

It's not for beach but a shopping trip (Cos I have no other black skirt plus it's so comfy) and I dont have a clue what to wear! The weather here is pretty rainy despite it being summer so nothing too summery please thankyou!
