I'm not looking for 100% cotton towels; I'm looking for 100% ORGANIC cotton towels. Also, not from an online retailer. Thanks.
I would ask someone at any one of your local organic health food stores. Usually, if they are in the business, they know of other products that are organic in the area and can refer you.
Sorry, I know that's not the best help in the world. If you lived on the West coast or Las Vegas I could help you better! :)
Best of luck on your search!

Speaking in terms of clothing and towels specifically. I have been able to find some towels that are 60% bamboo and 40% standard cotton. But I would of course prefer to buy something that is 100% organic. But I know that bamboo is an excellent resource as well.
So what's better in terms of being sustainable?
Both are good materials for sustainability so I would determine this by which has had to be transported less. BUY LOCAL, you can have a product that is very eco friendly but if you put it in a truck, plane, boat and ship it around the globe twice it stops being eco friendly. Look at where you are and look at where the products have to travel and buy the one less traveled.

Louise Harris, 29, lives in Essex with her partner Sam, 30, a metal worker, and Lola and Lulu - two Teacup Yorkies.
Louise says: Lola transformed my world both personally and professionally when I bought her four years ago.
For the first six months, I spent all my free time buying her lovely trinkets and treats. I was so inspired that I quit my £40,000 City job as an analyst with Reuters to open my own dog boutique and parlour.
Lulu is a year old and a recent addition to the family. She looks so uncannily like Lola that they could pass for sisters.
They have everything they could possibly need. Every morning, I cook them a warm breakfast of either scrambled organic eggs or porridge.
I wash them daily with Paul Mitchell Tearless Puppy Shampoo and spray them with Lola's specially-made perfume, Lola Love, which costs £6 a bottle. It's a very refined, subtle smell - like talcum powder.
take them to the grooming parlour every Friday where they have a shampoo, a conditioning treatment, a blow-dry, a massage and a paw-dicure (pedicure). I don't like them using towels that have been used on other dogs, so I take their own special cotton zebra-print ones.
Every morning, I select an outfit for Lola and Lulu from a wardrobe of clothes worth about £12,000, and I make sure they stay current with the trends.
Right now, animal prints are all the rage so I've got them in cheetah-print coats that cost £28 each. I also have ten £100 designer bags to carry them around in.
They have three beds.
The one next to mine in the bedroom is a £2,000 Moroccan-style four-poster dog bed with pink organza curtains. The wrought-iron bed frame has a gold L in the centre, like a crest. They have their own special steps to climb up and a cashmere pillow and blanket, which cost £250 each.
There is another dog bed in the study, worth £650 and covered with black ostrich feather-trimmed cushions. I keep a third bed for them in the lounge which cost £500.
They eat only the highest-quality dog food - which costs £7.99 a packet - and have gold-standard pet insurance.
I had their feeding bowl units specially made for £120 each. They eat out of two stainless steel bowls elevated on a cast iron stand so that they can eat at the correct angle and height.
I can't bear being separated from my dogs and I would never dream of putting them in kennels. I hire people to look after them for £20 a day if I absolutely have to go away.
My friends think I'm completely barmy to have professional photographs taken of Lola and Lulu. The photographer charges a daily rate of £500 and she's been with us for five days in the past year.
I am the proud owner of not only two wonderful pets, but of 15 lovely photographs of them.

Do you think it's excessive but harmless for the dogs to be pampered in the way that they are?
http://flickr.com/photos/fallonbrooke/30 04620221/
Scary.
Harmless for the dogs - although shampooing them everyday and not treating them like dogs?????? mmm
If I had that much money, no way would I spend it on my dogs - they have all they need.
How much good could £37,000 do for some of the homeless dogs in the world? I'd far rather think I'd helped dogs that needed help rather than wasted it on dogs that didn't
Bit obscene really.

Super Soft Lightweight 70% Bamboo 30% Organic Cotton Bamboo Fiber ...
- Highly water absorbent, and fast drying - These towels are going to feel thinner than the cotton towels that you're used to, but give them a try. Even though they are lighter weight, they feel soft and work great. Bamboo fiber towels absorb as much water as cotton towels three times their weight, and because of the great wicking action of the bamboo fiber, they dry super fast as well. - Important Care Instructions: To get the most out of your bamboo towels, it is important to follow these care guidelines. Machine wash cold on gentle cycle. Tumbled dry low. Do NOT use bleach or fabric softener. Occasionally, you might notice a few loose threads or enlarged loops. Simply trim these to the same...
