Organic Cotton Plus Size

American Apparel doesn't use sweatshops to make their stuff, but their largest sizes are tiny and supermodel-esque.

In Canada, Cotton Ginny sells organic and ethically-made clothing in realistic women's sizes, but the company seems to be in trouble and is closing most of its stores.

I need to know the names of some other brands that have ethical practices and that make women's clothes in larger sizes.

I ordered an organic cotton tee shirt with a picture of a Pit Bull on it and the caption "Pit Bull Soul" from the website www.Cafepress.com. They have a bunch of customized shirts there and what not, but anyways I ordered a Men's small on Sunday. I payed 5 bucks for standard 2-5 day shipping. I live outside of NYC so it didnt take too long to receive. Got the tee today (Thursday). When I put it on I realized that it was just too tight. The sleeves were generally small and the neck are was kinda tight. I'm 15 so plus I'm still growing and it would probably shrink in the wash. So anyways I emailed customer support right away because I know they have a money back guarantee for 30 days. I just wanted to exchange it for a Men's medium, so I asked how I should send the package back. They responded only 4 hours later telling me they had just immediately placed a brand new order in the size I wanted. They said they didnt want me to have to pay for shipping again, and to keep both shirts.
I responded back telling me how great their Customer service was and told them I would tell people about the site. Im just following up on my promise, lol.

Nice. It's good to see that there are still people out there who care if their customers come back. No advertising is as profitable (or more devastating) for a business as word of mouth. If they had treated you badly, and you told people on this site, they could have potentially lost hundreds of customers. Instead, they have potentially won hundreds of customers.

By the way, good for you for keeping your promise, even though noone would have known if you hadn't. (Except you and God). It's also nice to see someone with integrity.
