Organic Cotton Bed Sheets

My sister got period blood on my bed (I know it's gross, that's why i want to wash it out) so how can I clean that? I don't know if it makes a difference but my bed sheets are 100% organic cotton. My bed sheets are brown..so I can't bleach it or anything.. any suggestions??
I really love my bedsheets and I don't want to throw them out. They just match perfectly with my room.

Try some hydrogen peroxide directly to the stains. Soak in cold water, keep pouring peroxide directly on the stains until gone...

I really want to use organic materials around our baby, but I'm a huge fan of bold colors. The two don't seem to mix. Has anyone found a place to buy a crib bedding set (sheets, bumpers, etc.) that have bold colors?

I used to shop bedding for my children from character comforts site. They have many good bedding and i think you can also find bedding of your choice from their site.

I've noticed some places like Pottery Barn, but I like soft sheets so I was hoping for a higher thread count like 400 and higher. I live in Nevada but also go to Cali and Oregon often...
P.S. I've just started going Green this year, and little by little am trying to make a difference, I know organic cotton is much genetler on the earth than growing conventional cotton!

I have to go stark naked in bed because it is too way damn hot. What type of sheets can you buy that breathe? Anything organic? Is cotton good or bad? Anyone have any insight?

Bamboo sheets! I bought a set a few months ago and they are wonderful sheets. Plus, they are so darned soft - like a comfy tee shirt. They are advertised to be cool in summer and warm in winter. One thing they aren't is crisp looking. You don't get that 'ironed' look with bamboo sheets. But, I'd rather have soft and comfortable over crisp any day.
