Is the certification of the Organic status of the cotton recognized by USDA? It would be necessary to have that recognition to be able to sell the products as organic.

I saw them for sale at the Angels Team Store a couple months ago, and forgot the name of the brand / manufacturer who makes them. I remember the name either being preceded by or followed by a number, and reading on the tag that it was made out of the finest (maybe even organic) cotton and whatnot. Their line is really cute and vintage looking, but it was a bit overpriced. (almost $100 for a zip hoodie sweatshirt)

Let's say your in the market for designer jeans, would it matter to you if they used organic cotton? If you were purchasing a new brand of cosmetics, would you care if they were a green company, or if they're cosmetics didn't contain any dyes or preservatives?

I bought an organic all cotton sustainable edition shirt from American Apparel and it shrunk alot. Do the all cotton 2001 Fine Jersey shirts shrink as well?

Cotton shrinks, period.

#1 rule of laundering...read the washing/care instructions. It is a federal law that every garment sold in the US has to have washing instructions sewn in or applied on the garment. (tagless garments have them screened on) They are there for a reason.
