Organic Cotton And Bamboo

I got a green shirt at a concert that is made out of organic cotton and bamboo, I tried soaking it in the sink but there are still a couple of stains in it. Is there anything that would be safe for me to use that would get the stains out?

Get a bowl and add some milk and but the portion of the shirt, that has ink in it for 1 hours. Or you could just soak it with milk and leave it on for about an hour.

I've been trying to be earth friendly....organic cotton and bamboo cloth are suppose to be earth friendly...but what about the carbon footprint I am creating by having these items shipped to me? Neither one is considered to be "local" products in my area. What's you thoughts?

i think you just have to be practical about it, way the negatives and positives for everything you buy and determine if its a necessity or a luxury that you can live without

i need either hemp, bamboo, or organic cotton fabric for a college project. i am making a bean bag, and the theme of the project is sustainability. i have been searching the internet but to no avail. if not in ireland then where would be the closest, cheapest and fastest place to order it in from? time is running out.

Do NOT use bleach or fabric softener. Occasionally, you might notice a few loose threads or enlarged loops. Speaking in terms of clothing and towels specifically. I have been able to find some towels that are 60% bamboo and 40% standard cotton. But I would of course prefer to buy something that is 100% organic. But I know that bamboo is an excellent resource as well.
So what's better in terms of being sustainable?

Both are good materials for sustainability so I would determine this by which has had to be transported less. BUY LOCAL, you can have a product that is very eco friendly but if you put it in a truck, plane, boat and ship it around the globe twice it stops being eco friendly. Look at where you are and look at where the products have to travel and buy the one less traveled.

Are Organic cotton fabrics & Bamboo fabrics from Atlantis Fabrics good?Has anyone bought these?They have organic cotton printed knits and woven fabrics, and all their prints are certified by GOTS/SKAL.

Any reviews would be helpful.
