How do I convince myself to choose my own clothing?
FTL #6

I plan on buying some shirts soon,by September
But..I'm unsure wether of not I should actually buy them,my mom usually chooses my shirts(though,if they're okay for the weather and I ask, she'll let me wear them).

I'm buying these:

I'm unsure about buying that organic one, organic shirts aren't itchy or anything right?
I don't know, for some reason I feel like buying shirts with stuff on them.

Anyway,I'm perfectly fine with my mom choosing my clothing, since I am only thirteen, and she does let me wear the clothing I want when I ask. But,I don't ask her to let me choose my clothing for some reason.

What can I do to convince myself to choose my clothes more?
I'm not interested in popular brands actually.

You're at an age where it is normal to experiment with different clothes and styles. At thirteen you should be developing some individuality and learning what you yourself like or prefer, it's totally normal. Just remind yourself of that.

So apparently I need to find a new "style"...?
FTL #7

Recently, I have been told that although I'm pretty good looking (not model status, but slightly above average), I still have more potential and that I need to become more fashionable--and yes, I've been told by one of my guy friends (no homo) who's apparently extremely frustrated about how I dress...

I dress casually--too casually--skate t's, mostly shorts that probably look kiddy (but they fit fine), and jeans here and there--I don't see what the point is in spending more than 15 dollars on a tshirt or anything in general

But what can I do? Apparently girls think I need to become fashionable too but I don't want clothes to define me--i want to define myself by being myself... I wouldn't mind trying to try something new, but I've tried on v-necks and all that organic cotton indie crap and it does NOT look good on me at all (mainly because I'm pretty scrawny) lol

Why change style?
You need to be happy with who you are.
If people don't accept you for who you are then it's none of their business.
Beauty is not material but it's inside.
A style is just the side of people that judge the book by its cover.
Just be who you are and don't mind other.

  • Reusable Pads: Green Living, Reuse, Recycle, Reduce

&Nbsp;About a couple of years ago I decided to explore green living. One way was to learn all about reusable pads. There are a lot of great companies online to buy from, and there are also a lot of tutorials on how to make your own as well. They didn't look like a challenge for me to make, so I began experimenting making different styles and types and promoting the use of them. There is nothing but continuous benefits in wearing reusable pads. For one, it saves money, two, they can be made from all natural materials which is healthier, cleaner, and more comfortable when worn. The best thing is that they are reusable so they're not ending up only God knows where when...
