I want to buy a day dress for summer so which one do you think i should buy. I'm 5ft7 & weigh 117pounds, slightly tanned skin & dark brown features (profile pic) if that helps.

The dress is bright yellow with floral print spread out (other colors like pink, green, brown, red, etc makes up the floral design). I don't like the pattern and want to dye it a solid color.. I was thinking either solid black or white. White would be my preference. How would I go about doing this? Please help! Thank you!!!

"It ain't going to happen!" In order to dye your cotton dress a solid color, you should first start with completely clear fabric. If you dye the dress you describe, it will merely add another color on top of the print. There is no way to tell what you will end up with, but it may turn out to be a dirty gray.

By all means try it, if you can afford to lose the dress. Otherwise, only dye a solid very light color fabric, not a print. Expect to get a third color when you dye a colored fabric with a different color.

Check the instructions on the box of dye. It is also possible to remove color from fabric. See if the fabric color remover will work on your print.

There was this floral-print A&F dress that i really liked on their site. It was a $108, cotton dress. The 2 colors were green and navy. At first, the green one disappeared from their site. Now the navy's gone too. I forgot the name of the summer dress, but it never even went on clearance and it's pretty new too.

I went to the mall today and that dress wasn't there. Does anyone know what happened to it? Was it ever put out into their stores?
It's weird if it's sold out since it was $108! (Pretty expensive for a cotton dress if you ask me!)
And it couldn't have been sold out in like every store...

Probably because its gone? or the site is acting weird, the other day for some reason the Christine Polo like 6 of their colors disappear when i wanted to buy them and a few days later they reappeared. I notice one of their brand new jeans just disappeared to when it was just added a weeks ago, which i find odd no store should sell out of all their jeans so fast.

You should give up yet maybe check back in a few days on the website.

My friend is having an outdoor wedding, so I'm looking for a nice lightweight cotton sun dress.
I was thinking of wearing a short sleeve, just below the knee length, black and white floral print dress. The floral print is very large, and it doesn't look anything like a wedding dress or a bridesmaid. It's very pretty, very tasteful and modest and doesn't show anything it shouldn't. Do you think this would be okay? I'm concerned because it has white on it and my friend is kind of a bridezilla? Should I ask her first if its okay?

It sounds great to me, but if she's that much of a bridezilla....sheesh, maybe you'd better ask. I can't IMAGINE anyone thinking a black and white print is the same as either wearing white OR wearing black, but you never know...some people seem to LOOK for reasons to get offended.

Again, it sounds beautiful to me, though.
