Cotton Tunic Dress

I have been looking everywhere! I was a long sleeved maybe floral patterned one..no luck at forever 21 )= either cotton or a stretchy one..thanks for any help!

Tomorrow is picture day, and it will be around 67 degrees F. So for my outfit, I was thinking either
1) Tan/white striped V-neck sweater, frayed light denim miniskirt, and matching tan Uggs.
2) A thin short blue cotton tunic-dress-thing over dark blue jeans. A turquoise beaded necklace and bracelet. A turquoise chain belt, and black ballet flats.

Which do you think would be better?

#2 sounds cuter and more appropriate for school pictures. If you're worried about the tunic being too thin and not keeping you warm, wear a sweater over it and then take it off for pictures. Say cheese! :)

I am looking for a long sleeve fitted cotton/jersey T-shirt that is at least 29 inches long that can be worn as a mini dress, in either red or turquoise.
The reason I need it is because I am attempting to make a make-shift Star Trek Uhura costume to wear when my sister-in-law, my brother, and my friends and I go to see the movie this Friday; they are all dressing up too. I was considering just buying the freaking costume at a costume shop, but I can't find a store that has it in stock in a small (or any size for that matter).
I am just going to wear the tunic and some black leggings and heals – a Star Trek badge thingy if I can find one.
BUT for the life of me I can't find a place that sells such a shirt/tunic. I have searched:
Urban Outfitters, American Apparel, Forever21, Wetseal, Macys, Amazon.com, Overstock.com, Tilly's, Pink Ice and the list goes on. I want it to be kind of like this:

Well, you might be able to find something at Stitches. I've been there and i have seen dresses like that. Urban Planet might have those dresses to. I have seen them in one of those two places.

ok.
so i have this cotton tunic/dress that has a turtle neck && its gray with little pockets .
it is pretty casual but i go to a school that considers anything other than a t-shirt & jeans is dressy.
so what do you think i should wear with the sweater dress
that would make it more casual
like leg warmers? or a vest of some kind??

uhmm. i do get inspired by the 80's actually, i try to get my hair big && i love bright colors. haha. good call.

i need to go school shopping but i havnt had a chance yet!
please because the past week iv worn practically the same thing everyday..
this is what i can wear-
*dark blue skinny jeans
*mid blue baggier straight leg jeans
*black skinny jeans
*light grey h&m hoodie with 'eastdept' and a logo thing on the front (pullover hoodie)
*dark blue gap hoodie with 'GAP' on the front (pull over hoodie)
*navy blue zip up light hoodie/ jacket
*black light jacket
*short denim shorts
*purple tunic-y dress
*blue and white cotton tunic-y dress
*blue sweater
*basic color tshirts (black, red, gray, white, purple, blue.. etccc)
*more patterned babydoll style tops (ones green and patterny and one plain black)
*little black boots (very cute but sound horrible!)
*plain pumps in a few colors

im sorry this is a confusing question but im so bad at making outfits!!!
oh and im 16, and live in the uk so the weather is changing its mind ALL the time!!
oh yeah i have tights and stuff, also leggings!!

Dark blue skinny jeans and navy blue zip up hoody with pumps. Babydoll top and black skinny jeans. Denim shorts, pumps and blue sweater.
