Didnt even think about it when I put the dress in there, but now its to short to wear as a dress and to long to wear as a shirt. Anyone know how I can stretch it out or unshrink it with out it looking weird?
I would try washing it again in COLD water and hanging it to dry. You might want to even hand wash it, but hang it up to dry. Good luck!

If you look on the back of the pattern, it will tell you which fabrics are suitable for the dress. If those are your choices, go to a fabric store and feel each one. Hold a length of it and see how it'll drape. Of those, linen is the easiest to work with, crepe is the most slippery. I like stretch sateen, personally.

you can't really stretch them out easily without possibly warping the shape. Maybe you can take the hem out and rehem them with a shorter hem? That's what I do when i get pants that are too short.
