Cotton Gauze Dress

Does cotton dress looks normal (ok) at semi formal and prom at school.

i think its way too caual for from, and even semi-formal... but i think its a cute dress for a date, picnic or wedding...

The dress is white gauze with a cotton lining. It also has a crotchet details on the hem and bust. I spilled cranberry juice and taco bell hot sauce on it. How should I launder this. There are no laundry directions on the garment anywhere. help!

There must be a label on the inside that tells you if it's washable or not!
if there is soak the dress in cold water and detergent for a few hours to loosen the stains, get a soap bar and run it on the stains and gently rub with your hands , re soak the dress for a bit longer by this time the stains should have come off, rinse the dress until only clear water comes out and hang to dry do not put it in the drier if its 100% cotton it will shrink.

I am getting a tattoo on Friday, I have to wear a dress for graduation on Saturday. The tattoo is going on my ribs, and the dress is a bit form fitted around my ribs. To prevent rubbing I wanted to put a thin piece of gauze over the tattoo. I will be in the dress for probably about 12 hours. Is this ok? Or should I reschedule my tattoo??

Definately reschedual your tattoo. People will tell you all different kinds of information about how long and how much your tattoo will ooze. truth is, it varies for every person and for every part of your body. so even if people with tattooed ribs tell you it's ok, you can't be sure. on average, tattoos will leak body fluids and ink out of the skin for 2 days. during these two days, its important that you can clean your tattoo every couple hours and apply healing ointment as well. but most importantly, your tattoo needs to breath! after you get it done it will stay wrapped for two hours but you cant wrap it back up after this. your tattoo oozes because it has not completely formed scabs yet. if you apply ointment and wrap it, the scabs that are begining to form will soak up the ointment and slide off. the ones that havent formed yet wont be able to. you can loose alot of ink this way and your tattoo will look awful when it heals. obviously, you have to reschedual. its just much safer for both your tattoo and your dress.. congrats on graduating by the way!

If you couldnt tell, the material is like a gauze cotton.

to make it school appropriate i think i need some leggings (its kinda short) and maybe a cardigan/ jacket. I have suppper cutte black flats to go with it! Any suggestions???

As for accesories I was thinking a long pendant necklace with a slim chain and small or medium sized pendant charm and possibly a white and black polka dotted headband with a low ponytail. Kinda like how lauren conrad wears her hair in a headband. Is this good?

I love the way those dresses look with the thick leggings that stop above the ankle and have the little row of lace and add ballet slippers.

A little jean jacket would be cute to add to it
