Cotton Empire Dress

I am planning on getting married next October on the beach. I have started to look for that perfect dress. But all that I have found are dresses way out of my price range or just plain ugly looking. I am planning on a small ( just the 2 of us) ceremony so I want something that looks nice but I could wear to dinner and nobody would know its was a wedding dress. Not looking to spend more than $100 for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you should go with a short dress since you could wear it to dinner without looking too dressed up, and shorter dresses are less expensive.

I made this dress from a Folkwear pattern. It&#39;s green cotton.

I just bought a black cotton dress it is a v-neck with an empire waste (it is very simple and casual looking) I can see wearing it with cute flip flops but I wanted to wear it to dinner on Saturday, but we may end up going to a club after, how would I make it dressier for the club?

wear different color shoes like red pumps or any metallics. and also dress it up with some funky jewelry. i would also recommend doing something a little different with your hair rather than just wearing it down.

Needs to be semi-formal or formal. It doesn't have to be an exact replica, just similar style. Pretty much anything colorful and bold.

I have a ruched top empire line tube cotton tube knee length dress. Mainly orange with flowery prints (pink,yellow,green) around the hem.

Can i pair that with a champagne gold three quarter sleeved bolero? I will be wearing closed toed 3 inch heels heels with a hint of gold on the ribbon and mainly nude coloured cloth fabric.

I was wondering if the gold and orange seem too loud but this will be for a dinner function after work.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

you could try wearing white.
it will match, and wont overpower the rest of the colors.

i'm looking for a white cotton dress that either had staps easy-ish to remove (like spagetti ones) or one that is just sleeveless. also about knee length and (please!) babydoll/empire waisted. not to dressy. thank you so much =]
