100 Cotton Non Iron Dress

what is 100% non-iron cotton? That doesn't make sense? How do I get these damn wrinkles out?

I'm guessing 100% non-iron cotton means I shouldn't iron it, which soudns weird. Either way, I don't own an iron, I'd have to drive to my girlfriends to iron it but I don't really have time bc of other things going on.

do i simply toss it in the dryer for a coupe minutes on low heat and hope some wrinkles come out?

Do I wash and then dry for a few minutes?

The brand is Roundtree and Yorke, Gold Label. Collegiate style.

First - I'm guessing anything that says it's 100% no iron cotton is full of it.

Neverthe less, if you spritz it with a little water and run it in the dryer for a few minutes, it'll probably be fine.

It was wrinkled when I took it out of the package. Is it safe to iron it at least for the first time? It's 100% cotton, but I don't want to ruin a $45 shirt so I thought I better check first.

non iron doesnt mean dont iron... it means you shouldnt have to iron it, and if you do, use a cool setting only...iron inside out...
i would wash it following the manufactures instructions... i buy items from newport news and they come all folded up... a formal dress, i hang and put in my bathroom while i take a steamy shower... the steam releases the wrinkles...
there is also a product on the market... not sure of the name, but it is a wrinkle releaser... aerosol spray it in, smooth and go... never tried it, though....

red wine on a collared shirt in the last 24 hrs. Shirt is 100% cotton non iron

Try making a paste of baking soda and water, and rub it on the stain. Let it sit over night, and launder as usual. You could also try soaking the shirt, or the spot in some club soda. The bubbles help lift the stain, and then try the baking soda paste.

Neither one will bleach the shirt, so if it's colored (blue, gray, peach, whatever) it won't be obvious that there was ever anything wrong with the shirt.
