What is the proper fabric care for a white Turkish cotton bathrobe?

I have a white Turkish cotton luxury bathrobe that has no fabric care instructions other than cryptic icons in the collar. Should I use bleach and if so, how much? What is the recommended washing temperature? Can I use regular detergent to wash it?


Turkish bathrobes and towels are %100 cotton. So you can choose a program for cottons on your machine. You can choose a high temperature setting if you wish to, but 30- 60 degrees Centigrade is the best.
I am turkish and I use turkish towels and bathrobes. I wash them with regular detergent, at 40 degrees cent., do not use bleach, use a fabric softener. I still use some towels I bought 20 years ago.

loops do not unravel when pull on them.
avoid towels with 'braid' / 'ribbon' on each end (tend to shrink and put towel out of shape).
avoid dark colors (fade or 'bleed' color in wash).
