Stretch Cotton

I have these 100% cotton jackets I want to stretch just a little bit. They're the perfect size for me but they feel a little tight around the shoulders. How would I go about doing that - is there a proven way?

depends what kind of cotton. I usually put mine in the wash in cold water two times and it stretches a little. do not put it in the dry clean later. just hang dry.

I found a pair of cotton pants I bought awhile back ago, but they didn't fit.
I just found them and the fit perfectly until my hips.
I need to know how to stretch them out more so they'll fit. I've never worn them before so I am sure that if I walk around my house in them, they should get more comfortable.

& yes, I know not to put them in the dryer.
also how much can you possibly stretch them to?
like a size or two?

Machine wash cold with like colors. mild detergent. no bleach. tumble dry low. do not iron.

I found a lacoste 100% cotton polo shirt at a thrift shop, but when I tried it on it was a little bit too short in length. Is there anyway to stretch it in length?

wil its wet stretch it.....
then when it dries it should come out longish

I just received an excellent t-shirt as a gift its 100% cotton & its size large,it fits its just a little tight.

Is ther any way to stretch it out to loosen it a bit?

Dont want to offend by giving it back or giving it away.
Its only a little too tight around the chest & shoulders but ok every where else.

yes wash it and while its wet pull it length wise and put your arms in the shirt not the sleeves and open it up as far asit will give because if you do it too much it may loose its shape

i got this aeropastle shirt for christmas and it shrunk! so i'm asking how do you wash cotton sweaters and stretch them if they shrunk? and yes its 100% cotton!

Rewash it in cold water and lay flat to dry. If you do this a few times without using the clothing dryer it will come back. Depends of course on how much it shrunk, sometimes rewashing it and stretching it a little when its damp will do it. Make sure that you only stretch it a little each time or it will become deformed.
