can someone tell me what the above fabric feels like? is it almost gauze like or is it a substantial feel to it

Is crinkle cotton shiny?
I bought this dress:

It says it's made of crinkle cotton.
Will it be shiny like it is in the photo?
Or will it be dull?

Woa! Thats really pretty. That doesn't look shiny at all. Too me it looks fantastic. Just wear it! Who cares! It's what you think, not what other people think :o.

what kind of fabric goes with linen/cotton crinkled skirt, It's black thinner fabric, with a bit of a border on the bottom.

What do you want this other fabric to do? Is it to be underlining or lining? Accent on the skirt? Jacket? Top to go with the skirt? Something else entirely?
