Are you supposed to take it to the dry cleaners or wash it a special way in the machine? Does anybody get good results in the wash or does it ruin it?? Thanks!! Please help.
they should have instructions on the tag,
i just wash mine at home
my tag says: machine wash cold with like colors
and make sure you air-dry it
and they usually come in a blend of 80% cotton and 20% polyester

I've tried the usual Brooks Brothers, Casual Male XL, etc. He's tall (6'2'') so I want a larger/longer size so it doesn't look so short. Since he also wears a 2X in shirts, I'm assuming I need robes that will come in that size. A one size fits all won't be good; he's tried those on and they are too small. I want this to be a nice gift, like a spa or hotel quality robe, so $100 or so is just fine.
I'd also really like to get it in Navy Blue, not White. Cotton terrycloth (not those velour or waffle knits) is a must.
Thanks for any suggestions as to wear to look!
I found an awesome looking one at JC Penney's; thanks!
How about a barn? Or, maybe the tarp they cover the space shuttle with. Ooh, ooh, ooh....I know,......a tent, yeah, a tent. Have you considered JC Penny's curtain selection. It's huge....like your friend.

The fabric is soft like velour and it's black.
You can't dye upholstered furniture, since the excess dye must be washed out thoroughly after you apply it. If you don't thoroughly wash dyed furniture after dyeing, the color will rub off onto the clothing of anyone who sits in it, but you obviously cannot immerse upholstered furniture in water. You can use fabric paint instead of dye, though. See the instructions in the links below.
Painting your furniture will not save you any money as compared to making your own slipcovers, because it takes a lot of fabric paint to cover a large piece of furniture. It also will not last as long, because, unlike dye, fabric paint sits only on the surface of the fiber, and so it will wear off with time. A more immediate problem with fabric paint on a napped fabric like velour is that it might cause the fibers in the nap to clump together, depending on how deep the plush is. Fabric paint always leaves a perceptible slight stiffness on the fabric, unlike true dye.
microfleece polyester or cotton velour?
what i mean is the hommade all in one diapers, there are about 6 layers but im not sure what layer to use as the layer aganist the baby's skin, there is the waterproof layer, adn about 3 layers of terry, and 2 layers of cotton, and one thats against the babys bottom.
the one aganist the bottom is the one i am asking about. polyester would pull liquids away from my babys butt to keep him drier but velour is super absorbent and ultrasoft. its also hypoallergenic. there is a pro to both adn also cons but i dont know what to do?
poly pros:
keeps baby drier
soft on babys butt
cons;
not absorbent at all
velour pros:
super absorbent
hypoallergenic
cons:
wont keep baby dry

NO PAPER DIAPERS, PEOPLES!!!
For nightime I prefer the fleece lining, like in FuzziBunz and Happy Heinys. I don't want him to feel wet at night and wake up because of it. I do like cotton velour, though with another layer of cotton, you are adding more drying time.
I would suggest some of each. Fleece for when you might not be able to change immediately and velour for days at home when baby won't be in a wet diaper too long!
My son is 2, so during the day, I want him to be able to tell me when he's wet. I use a cotton fitted diaper with thick fleece pants, which act as a cover.
I bought these great pants at a thrift store. I would like a few more pairs, but I can't seem to find out where they came from. My ggogle search only lead me to "juicy couture", and there are none for sale on eBay. Does anyone know what store carries this brand? The pants I have are light blue and velvety / velour style sweat pants. Thanks.
I do NOT want Juicy Couture - thanks.
