What are some foods,entertainment and health that uses cotton? I heard they make salad dressings with cotton.

cotton balls, cotton swabs, cotton bandages in health. Entertainment uses cotton fabrics, and in makeup the afore mentioned cotton swabs and balls. In food, it is cotton seed oil. That is all that I know of right now. Likely will think of more later. Not cotton candy!!

I'm doing an assignment on cotton and I can't seem to find any info about it. Also, I need to draw a time line for the history of the cotton use in the world.

Start with a good encyclopedia article that includes information on cotton fabrics from both the middle east and from South America -- there's an interesting (and mostly separate) history of cotton in both old and new world.

Keywords to look for:
Gossypium hirsutum
Gossypium barbadense
Gossypium arboreum

Also be sure to include the story of the development of modern Egyptian cotton, and of Pima cotton.

I saw so many different cotton products in the store and not sure of their uses. What are each of them are used for?
I want to know general use. For a guy, I just use stuff for acne care.

cotton balls: eye makeup remover, nail polish remover

cotton squares,ovals, pads: face, cheek makeup remover

sponges: to apply face makeup; foundation, blush, bronzer etc..
