Cotton Underwire Bra

Lovable made a cotton bra with outtter fabric an eyelet type fabric, cups lined with a soft brushed fabric, had 3 wore them till no stretch left, am told they are now discontinued.
Victoria Secret made a cotton underwire with a very thin narrow underwire, super comfortable also discontinued, know there are places that sell discontinued styles but how to find them.

you can try ebay or amazon maybe but other than that i dont think so.

I suppose this would be the right category for this. But I'm a 40DDD at the moment, if I measured right (every website I go to says something different on how to measure and how come it is that a padded bra fits differently than a cotton? lol), and right now, I've got a cotton bra (underwire), and I love it, but I've lost some weight and it's old--so it's stretched out a bit and doesn't fit right anymore. AKA time for a new one. But which one has the best support and fits good? Is it possible to get a comfortable bra that holds up these puppies AND manages to be somewhat sexy, too?

So I thought I'd ask: ladies, what is your favorite bra? What kind is it (demi, push-up, full coverage, etc)? What do you like about it? Where'd you get it?

I normally shop at Lane Bryant and I just bought a new bra, a padded underwire "balconnette"; I'd heard they gave great cleavage as well as being supportive and sexy. But I HATE it. It's got great cleavage and it holds the girls up great, but for some reason, it's absolutely killing my shoulders. I can't stand to wear it. Shame too, becuase I love the way it looks with a shirt on. The cotton one brand new was SO comfortable, but it's not that sexy to look at. lol

well, I can't say I'm as large as you but I have larger ones and gravity is taking place. Plus now that I'm getting older I like comfort. I got a comfortable one at wal-mart, oh and believe me I love Vikki's but they never ever fit me, no matter which one I tried. Anyways I was browsing the clearance and I really like it (Fruit of the Loom-Just for her. It's cotton and push up and the back is lace. I've had it for 9 months I really like it. I also got fitted for a (Felina) that one is too small and I got fitted. The bras I really like are the ones I didn't spend alot of money on and they are comfortable.

I'm 12, getting my first cup bra tomorrow, and I want to get one that will make my chest size look smaller. I don't want to get a minimizer bra though.

So which one of these (or any other type of bra unlisted) would make my chest appear smaller, and be a good first bra? Thanks so much everyone who answers!

If your chest is so large you are worried about making it look smaller already, I would not recommend a front-clasp bra. These don't offer as much support in my experience; and when they start to stretch out you don't have the option of clasping them tighter.
Most of the support comes from the band, so first make sure the band fits snugly against your skin; then look for COTTON bras-- most other bras will either be too thin or have too much padding (again, just my experience). I would look for "t-shirt bras" for your first bra, and not worry about getting something convertible-- you would sacrifice support and shape for convenience unless you are willing to spend a lot of money.

I wear a size 38c and I sometimes get skin peel-similar to a burn under my boobs-.I changed the kind of bra I wear but it doesn't make a difference-from cotton,silk to sythentic fabrics.This worsens when its really hot.I rarely wear bra's with underwire.

Does anyone know what I can use to stop and prevent this?or control?

perhaps it's too tight and maybe you thought your measurement is correct... you should update it.... also, perhaps... cheap bras could be a reason
