What is the best way to wash and dry 100% cotton shirts so they wont shrink and wont get that crusty hard feeling, but still be soft?
Wash in cold water, with plant based detergent; preferably no bleach of any type. Even borax and baking soda tend to fade clothes.
Do not put in dryer. Dryer shrinks and fades clothing. Hang on line instead and fluff for five minutes in dryer after they are dry. If you go to the laundromat, then dry them on low heat.
Fabric softener in the washer works best as opposed to dryer sheets

Looking to start my own clothing line and need to produce an idea to a possible invester. I need to know how to print my own logos on the label and how can i get my wacky designs printed. One of my designs is a plain tshirt with my logo stitched on the left pec. Can i do this myself and get an authentic look?
No, you might have to pay someone else to do it for you.
As for the logos. You need to get hooked up with a local print shop to do your logos for you. Also, ask around for Stichers, or Sewers. People who sew or that do embroidering on clothes like patches & Iron tranfers to help you with your T-shirt idea. That would be your best bet. Look for people who know what are doing because this is your art, your concepts and ideas, etc. Good luck

how do you get rid of them.. all my shirts are being dust rags
Baking soda, made into a paste works well on t-shirt pit stains, have saved quite a few. In future, do as fresh as possible, for the best cleaning potential.
Hope this saves you some money! Good luck, Rob
Lately I've found holes in my tshirts that are hanging in my closet...I know bugs are known to put holes in clothing that is stored in boxes for long periods of time but I've never heard of them getting at things in a closet...For the record my closet is very full...I know that moth balls could help but I'm worried about the effects of them on my two young children...Any ideas would be appreciated...
CEDAR- you can get cedar chips or blocks, there are many products out there made for this out of cedar. It keeps all kinds of bugs away including spiders. If you look at local store near hangers, storage compartments that kind of stuff you should see the products there. Sometimes near detergents too.
Is this representative of solidarity or some social movement or group?
I guess everybody wants to be apart of something.
I heard it makes individuals harder to single out and identify when everybody on the block is wearing a white Tshirt.
why not wear a white tee? they, along with black ones, can got with any colored pants

Ink and Cotton: Why One Color?
Why does each Ink and Cotton t-shirt design only have one color? I am a printmaker as well as an illustrator and she wanted the designs to stay as close to the block print style as possible. The art of printing is a huge factor in creating graphic tees and I wanted to display the connection between printmaking and t-shirts because, often times, we pay little attention to how things are made. There’s another reason for the simplicity of the artwork. Most clothing lines produce loud, complex graphics with multiple colors, catchy phrases or funny slogans. In my opinion, they all look the same; they’re trying too hard. I want to provide simple designs for people who don’t want to...
