Cotton Tights

I know that a lot of stores are selling cotton tights at present, but I have not seen any in grey colour. I also want to buy the ones that are most comfortable to wear. Any suggestions?

I'm not entirely sure. I would say New Look or H&M, but I will say that the grey ribbed cotton tights in Topshop are awful! I bought a pair and they are really thin in places, so your skin shows through, and the ribbed lines emphasize your thighs and calves. I was really disappointed - and when I tried to return them, I was told that I couldn't, which really annoyed me. So avoid Topshop!! xxx

Include in the answer about such features as stretch, comfort, brands, durability and experiences...
Also compare them to regular nylon tights...

Cotton is, well...cotton. It's a natural fiber. As far as stretch goes, it's more a matter of the lycra content of the tights. Microfiber is synthetic, and it's essentially a number of super tiny fibers used where generally one would be...like multple tiny threads in place of a single. They are softer than cotton or regular nylon, but again, stretch has to do with the lycra content. Cotton tends to be thicker than the nylon/microfiber but a bit more durable. Cotton is usually opaque whereas microfiber tends to be a little more sheer, and nylon would be even more sheer. It all depends on what you're after. Even with nylon tights, lycra content affects stretch and resilience. 100% nylon is very susceptible to bunching and sagging...particularly around the knees and ankles.

More importantly than anything, don't cheat when it comes to sizing. Wearing a size too small will make them feel constrictive and uncomfortable...and honestly, comfortable in this case does look good :)

She hates nylon/lycra and needs these for gymnastics. I saw them last year in Target, but they no longer carry them.

Try a dance store. I'm sure they carry them. Boy dancers always wear footless tights.

my 9 yr old wants to wear cotton tights to school but with high boots , i said no, but i heard from other parents its ok, is this a bit to "appealing" to sicko's out there ? as i do love my daughter alot.and i want her to be safe. she wants to wear the school girl kilt and stockings, fashion trend. i agreed on nice boots but stockings, and sheers one!!!!! no way!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure you mean that she wants to wear a short skirt to accompany these high boots. There is really no point in wearing high boots if the skirt goes way down.

The problem is that these poor girls have as their roles models singers and actors who dress very slutty. If I were you, I would get her into a different school or homeshcool her. It is really sad when all the girls dress like this. She is way too young and you should be enforcing decent morals on her better than you are.
