Does anyone know where to find plus size cotton slips, either on-line or in the Boston area? Local store says they would sell them if they could find a supplier. Have tried Vermont Country Store, but that brand doesn't fit right for me. Thx.


Marks & spancer stores. They have all sizes cotton slips.

After I put in a tampon, and stand up straight, the end of the cotton comes out and pokes through my pants?!?

I put in tampons by having one leg elevated. I push it in as far as it will go, but when I stand up and start walking, the very end of the cotton slips out (im talking about an inch) and pokes out so people can tell im wearing one.

any suggestions?


put it in while you are sitting on the toilet...make sure you put it as far in as you can...then stop, and relax a minute..now check to see if it'll go up any further....sometimes your muscles tense up when you first put it in ...and when you relax to a normal position..the muscles relax and down it slides

Oxy clean might work. I spilled red nail polish on my white carpet and it took most of it out but I had to leave the oxy clean on it for 1 day before I cleaned it.

do you wear a slip with a skirt and what about seeing through it?

All I have are hot nylon type slips to wear under a skirt. I am concerned about seeing through the fabric..but I can't find cotton slips with a shadow panel..what is everyone else doing?


Yes. A lady allways wears a slip. You can get a shorter version of a nylon slip and it is not as hot. I am representing for big girls of america, and i basically wear a slip 4 of 5 days of the week. Please consider a shorter version of the light nylon slips, don't go without.
