Cotton Slippers

She had pink hair which started out in pigtails. She wore purple and pink pajamas with stars on them. She had pink slippers. I thought she was called sleepover barbie, but I can't find her anywhere. Instead of being plastic like most barbies she was soft, and filled with cotton or something, like a plushie. Thanks!

they are white bunny slippers, but it doesn't say on any tag if it's polyester or real cotton or anything. i know i can't put it in the washing mashine or they will fall apart. anyone know of i way to wash them?

*also there is something hard they used for the nose of the bunny, i wanted to wash them without ruining that or fading the color of it.

Wet them with cold water.Then put a little liquid detergent inside the foot part.Rub it in well and then take a little of the bubbles and rub on the front of the slipper.Now rinse well in cold water.Hang them upside down to drip dry.That way the color will not run from the nose.

I'm being red riding hood for Halloween and I have the costume, A store bought gingham dress and short cape, white cotton tights, black slippers with red buttons on them And a picnic basket with little flaps and a checkered cloth inside to hold candy. I don't know how to do my hair or make up for the costume, it's dirty blonde and very fair, its just past my shoulder. I have pale skin and gray blue eyes. Any suggestions?

For you hair:
Curl your hair, and then when the hoods of the cape is up tuck it slightly behind. If you don't want to curl if you could also put it in a low ponytail,then you could curl the sides. But I wouldn't make it too curly, more like waves. All you have to do is take pieces of you hair and wrap it around the curling iron instead of putting it in the clamp section. You could also use a straightener to curl you hair if you don't have a curling iron. If you don't want either of the two looks I would suggest a messy bun or just a regular ponytail.
For your makeup:
I would go for more of a natural look, it's not like little red riding hood wore makeup anyways! Put on some mascara, eyeliner if you want to but I wouldn't (more natural) I would put on some blush so your cheeks look rosy. Don't use brown blush. Use either red or pink. For you lips wear red or pink. You can do any type of makeup you want, and hair. Since you have the costume and it sounds good, just do what you like. Good luck! Your costume sounds good! :)

I want to find cotton yardage. Not just ANY cotton. I want the kind of cotton that was used to make an old pillowcase (ca. 1910) I happen to have.

It's dense, and soft, and creamy, and falls into curved folds. The weave is plain (not a twill or a jacquard), and is extrememly close. It's the cotton equivalent of silk slipper satin, if that makes any sense.

I've been all over looking for it for years, and all I've ever been offered is half-polyester blends (ugh), cheap muslin or miserable broadcloth.

Where does one find excellent fabric yardage? There MUST be a source!

I think you are thinking of the old muslin which is 100% cotton. Don't forget back then they ironed and starched the pillowcases and sheets, which I am sure over the years gave them that softness. You might be able to find some old muslin sheets at yard sales and then make your pillowcases. I am on my last set of muslin sheets so I am going to have to hunt for some too.

what exactly do i need to pack in my hospital bag? so far i have, for the baby: 4 vest, 4 baby grows, leaving hospital outfit, nappies, blanket, cotton wool. and for me: 30x big sanitary towels, 10x big nickers, dressing gown, slippers, breast pads and a out fit to come home in. do you think i have missed anything? thanks, any others things that you wished you had took with you but didn't?

you have a good list started.
The only other stuff i brought and needed was my own shampoo and wash and a little makeup. toothbrush and paste.
Plus, if you want to shower some hospitals have crummy towels so i brought my own.
You might want to bring a couple blankets in case the baby dirties one.
If you have a spouse that is going to be staying in the room with you don't forget his stuff!
