Cotton Shrug

It's lightweight summer shrug, so it isn't lined or anything. Why would it need to be dry-cleaned? Can't you machine wash linen/cotton/spandex?

I have sensitive skin, and I can't wear it until I wash it or it will irritate my skin. I know about those things that you can put in the dryer with "dry clean only" clothes, but in this case I don't need to freshen the shrug--I need to get the chemical residue out of it.

Hand wash it in the sink with Woollite (or any handwashing detergent or your favorite body wash) in cold water. use only cold water, & hang or lay flat to dry. Heat will shrink it.

ALLLLL I want is a BASIC shrug, totally plain without any rhinestones or sequins or rutching or aplique. I want the kind that ties in a twist right below your boobs. I'd be thrilled to find either cap-sleeve or long sleeve. I want it in T-shirt material or some other simple stetch cotton fabric. And I want it to cost less then 23 bucks!!! You'd think somethign so basic would be easy to find, but I've scoured ebay and the internet for months with no success. Any tips???

But you can dress down most anything with a pair of casual jeans.
Don't do your hair all pretty or wear lots of asseories or else that will make it look more formal probably.

Like I said, I couldn't see the shirt. But who says you're not allowed to dress up for school every once in a while! ;-)

Wear it with some black jeans and black ballet flats. And maybe try a red bracelet or earring to add a bit of color.

i need a shrug for my eight grade formal and i want it to be a neutral color (white, black, grey) and i'd prefer cotton or silk and a crochet or a knit if it's a tight, small stitch. i'd prefer a short sleeve and i'd like it to end no farther than my rib-cage. i looked at hollisterco.com, oldnavy.com, forever21.com, wetseal.com, and rue21.com. i haven't been into the stores but if you know of a cover-up like that, please tell me where and if it's an in-store item or not. ;)
