Cotton Shorts

hey i need to shrink my shorts because they are way too big for me. they are 100% cotton and when i wash them like they tell me to do (wash cold, dry on low) they shrink but once i wear them they just stretch back out to its original largeness. :[
i want to shrink me so that they stay small when i wear them and so they dont stretch out for good. so are there any tips on how to permanetly shrink 100 % cotton shorts?
also, how much will they shrink? cuz i need them to shrink about one to two sizes smaller. :]

I bought roxy shorts that were on clearance for $5...SCORE! but the catch was there was this deep navy blue ink spot on them.
I've been trying to bleach it, but it won't seem to come out?
Whats the secret to getting them totally back to white with bleach?
Oh, they're 100% cotton.

spray the ink wet with hair spray then rub a white bar soap on top, spray wet again and rub with the soap again, then spray wet again then wash in cold water with your detergent.
That will get the ink off... and save the material.
Leave the bleach alone.
If you haven't washed them after using the bleach, then wash them before using the hair spray.

My son starts gym class next week and all I can find is the nylon/poly basketball shorts that are thin. I remember seeing some with a cotton short underneath that was longer than the nylon on top. Where can I find these?

I've seen them at Footlocker, I think they carry them all the time.

I've already washed them and the stain didn't come off and then I washed them after treating them with stain remover and the stain faded a little bit, but didn't come off. The shorts are short white Hollister shorts and the stain looks like dirt, but I don't ever remember staining my shorts and the stains are huge, like they're each the size of a small pancake. I don't want to have to throw them away and the stain needs to come off. Please help :)

actually, any good soap, oxyclean, even dishwasher soap, and a scrub brush. let it soak. there are also sprays that remove stains. check the cleaning aisle at your local walmart or grocery store.
