Where can I get a robe, or dress that's made of terry cloth, for use at the beach, like an absorbent sarong?
Christmas party dress

I've tried a sarong at the beach, but the thin cotton or polyester does not absorb anything, so I need a separate towel. Is there such thing as a beach robe or beach towel dress?

Well I have a Towelini... that's pretty much exactly what you are describing. It's basically a towel which can be wrapped and tied into a dress.

I used to have a sarong, but I found the polyester would get stinky and it didn't absorb anything.

The Towelini is made of organic cotton... so it's absorbent and it dries fast.

I don't know if you can get it at regular retail locations, but you can get one online at http://towelini.com/

Throughout history, sarongs have been used in many different ways in many different countries throughout Asia and the South Pacific. The sarong is popular in tropical climates and makes great vacation wear.
