Cotton Print Fabric

I am interested in small yardages (5 or less) of cotton fabric suitable for quilting. I have digital images of the repeats. Would like to be sure the fabric is washable and light-fast. I am not interested in iron-on transfers! Thanks!

There are a number of places that do digital printing on fabric. I'm not going to mention any by name because I have not used them and cannot endorse them, but do a search for Print Your Yardage and similar terms and you will find a number of companies who want your business.

my son likes to drive his cars on the bed, i want to make a cover for the bed that has streets on it so he can drive his matchbox cars on. Any ideas?

Try Joann's Fabrics, or what ever fabric store is located near you that specializes in fabrics. They have loads of prints usually up against a back wall and if that doesn't work have you seen those little carpets that have roads, street and train tracks printed on them and even farms and town details on them too, they run a bout 12.00$ and you can find them at most toy stores, its isn't a blanket but my boys are 12 years apart and both have enjoyed them because along with the cars and trains they can put up little trees and farm animals, and even tractors. They measure about 4' by 4'.
And if you don't find what you are looking for you can always try Ebay , there are often hard to find items there.

i have some designs in single/multicolor. i want to print it on a blank t-shirt. but my quantity is low, thats why i want to use a digital printer. which digital printer do u recommend for fabric printing? also suggest some brand

The prints that you see on t-shirts CAN NOT be done with a regular old printer, or any printer for that matter. They are done by a process called silk-screening. you have to go to a place that does custom prints to get it done, they should be able to use your design.

I am doing an essay of 2000 words for an art evaluation. I would like to know how to print text onto fabric but have heard that iron on transfers are a bit rigid. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you
Thank you for your answer. The material I want to print on is cotton. How would I print using the freezer paper?

Apart from T-shirt printing, you can buy sheets ready-treated that you can feed into your printer and print off your document that way. You didn't say what you wanted to print on - obviously you couldn't feed a t-shirt through! A thought - if it's just for an evaluation then you can iron a piece of fine cotton onto the shiny side of freezer paper, cut it to paper size and feed that through. It's much cheaper than buying special fabric and will last if you don't wash it too much.
