Cotton Pants

Was riding my bike in the rain and noticed the leather seat had stained my really nice cotton/poly pants. Anyone know how to remove it?

My kids left a carmex lip balm stick in their pants pocket and it went through the laundry. Now my wife's cotton pants have grease stains all over. Is there any way to get these stains out? Thanks!
They have already gone through the dryer.

put pair of jeans in dryer with cotton pants and didnt realize lipstick was in pocket. cotton pants were already dry - 10 mins later realized lipstick was in pocket... all over clothes. applied stain remover and placed in washer w/ cold water - some stains are still there... any other things i can try?

How can I shrink my 100% cotton pants? I bought a large and I need to shrink it down to a medium or so. Please help! *I already know about washing and drying in heat, but i'm looking for fast & different ways!* You can also give tips about washing in hot water, etc. I just need different ways as well!! Thanks in advance~
They are shorts and pretty short already. I just need to shrink mostly the waist band part of it...

I agree with Martha .. the trouble with trying to shrink clothes is that you have no control over where or how much they will shrink.

I'd say you'd be better off either leaving them too loose (cinch with a belt?) or having them taken in (where I live a dry cleaner will do it for about $10)
