Was slavery essential for the manufacture of cotton in Britain during the industrial revolution? Why was slavery difficult to abolish ?

Consider the different economics of forced labour which you don't have to pay and of which there is a good supply, as opposed to paying people to work voluntarily. There was sure a lot more profit in slavery than without it. The abolishment of slavery actually dealt the British economy a pretty severe blow.

However, other highly profitable elements were developing in the economy to help make up for the loss of profits from slavery. Also, the profits from slavery were in decline at the time of abolishment.

i think you should come to india only if you know someone here, secondly, you should start taking knowledge abot the cooton shirts company and their details , you shuold search on internet .come to india with a clear mind.
