Cotton Incorporated

Hi, Its my second wedding anniversary in three weeks and I want to find a really good wedding anniversary card with cotton incorporated into it, either with the word written or some form of cotton on the front. I have trawled the internet and cannot find anything on here. Anyone got any shops I can go to to find one? I'm not good at making them myself

Sorry but no one can say what is in your heart or mind better than you can. I would stop at every card counter you see and look through the cards.

Then after you find a card that is at least close to saying what is in your heart I would add to the writing with a hand written note saying something like ---

Darling,

This card comes close to what I want to say, I wish I had the ability to express the love and desire I feel for you in words, but words alone never seem enough.

I have knitted, cotton crocheted, and cross-stitched items that I need help with finding a price for them. They are both small and large projects, so in order to get a good price for each I want to add in a flexible cost for time used from beginning to end. How should I estimate and incorporate this into the final price of each item? Is there a formula to go by?

Well the good thing is you can always command a higher price with handmade goods versus commercial-made goods. When people know that they are buying a handcraft, they generally are aware that they will pay a higher price versus the same item they might buy from the store. So with that said, you don't want to inflate your price, but price at what you know it is worth. And also, when you're just completely at a lost and don't even know where to start with the price, just go on the internet and look at other handcrafted goods in your category. That seems to always help.

This is kind of silly, but maybe some cotton pajamas that have an asian ("china") feel to them?

It would be a funny gift to give. You could pair it with a dinner you cook and serve on your finest china, and write him a letter about the last two years of your life... all the changes, happy times, how you and he have grown together and growth closer to each other.
