How to remove wax from cotton cloth strips?
red pink cloth background

I have cotton cloth strips I use for waxing. How do I remove the wax after I'm done w/ them?
I've done the soaking in hot water thing, but how do I get the wax off because it gets everywhere.

Put them under an old towel or sheet and then iron them. The wax will transfer to the towel or sheet.

To bleach something is to remove or lighten its color; a "bleach" is a chemical that can produce these effects, often via oxidation. Common chemical bleaches include sodium hypochlorite, or "chlorine bleach," and "oxygen bleach," which contains hydrogen peroxide or a peroxide-releasing compound such as sodium perborate or sodium percarbonate. "Bleaching powder" is calcium hypochlorite. Bleaching may be a preliminary step in the process of dyeing.

Color in most dyes and pigments is produced by molecules, such as beta carotene, that contain moieties (pieces) known as chromophores. Chemical bleaches work in one of two ways:

An oxidizing bleach works by breaking the chemical bonds that make up the chromophore. This changes the molecule into a different substance that either does not contain a chromophore, or contains a chromophore that does not absorb visible light.
A reducing bleach works by converting double bonds in the chromophore into single bonds. This eliminates the ability of the chromophore to absorb visible light.[1]
Sunlight acts as a bleach through a process leading to similar results: high energy photons of light, often in the violet or ultraviolet range, can disrupt the bonds in the chromophore, rendering the resulting substance colorless. [2]

Remedy for Infant Eczema That Are Effective

Millions of adults suffer from the embarrassing and painful disease referred to as eczema. But when it involves infant eczema, it will break your heart. Especially if the infant eczema is serious and is very obvious.

Most Dermatologists recommend lotions with steroids for this kind of severe eczema. But current research indicates that steroids can present a possible health hazard. And most people with young children do not desire to possibly endanger their children’s health with this type of therapy (if another alternative exists). So, what can you do eliminate infant eczema?

There are many safe natural home- treatments that you’re able to use to treat these types of skin conditions. The very 1st thing you need to do is put a humidifier in their bedroom at night. The increased moisture in the air is soaked up by their skin and relieves the discomfort and itch and may cut back the redness. This completely natural solution is totally safe.
