Just today I was at the store, and there is a super glue remover located on the shelf next to the super glue. The package said it will work on dried glue as well. Might want to give it a try.

I bought some pants in what I thought were my size, but it turns out the sizing is quite large... How can I shrink the pants while being sure I don't over-shrink them?

I bought them from ezibuy online, and they dont have any smaller sizes... However they are excellent quality and lovely style, so I'd love to keep them.
They were also not cheap. I still have time to send them back for refund, but I really like them, and will keep them even thought they are a little big. Thanks for all the answers, this is my first question and I can't believe the speed of the replies! Thanks alot, much appreciated :)

The trouble with trying to shrink a garment, is that it will not always shrink where you want it to. Most fabrics shrink more in the length than the width, so I would imagine that your pants will become shorter, rather than smaller. Linen usually shrinks when washed, even in cold water. I suggest that you wash them first of all, in warm or cold water and see what happens. If you put them in very hot water or boil them, that should shrink them more, but as I said, more in the length than anywhere else.

My advice is therefore to just wash them normally and put them in hotter water gradually, i.e. wash a second time in hotter water and then again in hotter water still, the third time.

You didn't say what colour they were. If they are coloured, some colour may come out in very hot water and if patterned, the colours may run. Good luck!

I suspect that the stains (both are very similar in color) came from either indigo dye or my jeans after mistakenly washing them together. My mother said that indigo dye can be washed off using just by washing with detergent. I am unconvinced because according to Wikipedia, indigo ink is not soluble in water but dissolve in chloroform, nitrobenzene and sulphuric acid (stuff very difficult to get around my house). Btw, the label on my trousers says 'Do not bleach' and my cargos are 100% cotton. Both are of the same color (light brown/tan) and I think they are colorfast... So how do I remove the stains with stuff that I can actually get??

Try soaking them in Oxy-clean and then spray n' wash them 5 minutes before putting them in the laundry.

I am going to start working as an electrician and I am having trouble finding pants to wear for work. I have one pair already from EMS. I'm looking for cotton or nylon pants that are usually found in casual wear or for hiking and other activities. Thank You

Try a military surplus store.

Many of them carry brand new BDU (battle dress uniform) pants which are basically cargo pants.

They are cheap and, since they are made to military spec., tough.

The shop near me has them in plain tan, olive green, dark blue and black and some wild sports team camouflage colors (red, yellow and black for our local Chiefs football team).
