Cotton Blouses

there is a old product called Fels Naptha , it comes in bar form and if you dampen the stained area and then rub it down good with the Fels Naptha and then wash it will work! You should be able to buy it at any retail store.

The blouse is 100 percent cotton. I followed the care instructions and hand washed it in cold water and hung it to dry, but it still shrunk =( Maybe because of the hot weather? Anyways, is there a way to unshrink it? This is a pretty beautiful blouse D:
That was the freggin care instructions! Hand wash in cold water and hang dry!

Once something shrunk, you can't unshrink it. Sorry!

HELP! I just got this new blouse and I got sharpie marker on it. The blouse is 3% spandex and the rest cotton.
rubbing alcohol did not work, bleach did not work.

Try acetone first, then bleach, but either might damage the spandex fibers.... If it's an expensive blouse call a cleaner for ideas.

I had a nose bleed and it got on my pillow cases and I let them dry as you said. I've done everything except pray the rosary over them and after ten washings, you can still see it.

They do make good rags though. I like the hydrogen peroxide idea, but after soaking in probably six different chemicals now [with the exception of prayer and toilet bowl cleaner] I don't have high hopes that hp will do any better.

Oh well you might as well know. And yes I did replace the pillow cases I had to. But a lot of it did come out, its just that it never really came out, if you know what I mean.

I go a blouse that I liked thats 100% cotton but I just need to shrink it about an inch. Ive read some other responses to similar questions as mine but Im kinda confused. I really dont want to shrink it too much. Can I just wash it in hot water and then put it in the dryer in hot? Or should I wash it in hot and let it air dry?

Wash it in cold and dry it on hot.Hot water shrinks more than a dryer for some reason.
