4 Ply Cotton

When changing color can I use them together? they look and feel the same.
I meant to say to my surprise I have both, I do not know why or how.

Their both worsted weight ...so interchanging will not be an issue.

Sugar n Cream is made by Lily brand yarn. I am not sure who makes Peaches n cream. I think it's a cheaper "copy cat " of the popular Sugar n Cream yarn...I have only seen it at Walmart... I checked around and it can be purchased online too from a few different sites.

If my memory serves me well it is a bit softer than the Sugar n Cream.

I have made nice potholders containing BOTH yarns.

I am having a lot of trouble finding a pattern that i want. i would like a 70s style that starts with a chain in the middle, that you work around creating a triangle/semi circle kind of shape. I have been searching for weeks but cannot find a pattern that is of this kind. i have found a child's one and one at bellaonline but they both have been taken off th internet before i got to use them!
Otherwise if there was any pattern for a kind of semi-circle cup type bikini top, that would do. I have 4 ply cotton. An Australian/British crochet pattern would be good but i'm sure i could translate.

So i got knitting things today and jumped right into it. I know how to cast on,and do the purl and knit stich(from watching people/videos). But today when i casted on i looked at my stiches and they were double. Like instead of being 1 loop theres 2 and then the next stich starts. Any help. Also im using 100% cotton yarn 4 ply and it seems to made of individual strands if this is a problem

Hmmm...I'm wondering if your yarn is splitting and causing every stitch to look like two stitches. Otherwise you've just made an error with your cast on. It would be easier to answer this question if we knew which cast on method you used. I would just take it out and try again. I'll put a link here for a cast on instructional to help you out with your next attempt.
As for the yarn, 4 ply means 4 strands twisted together so that's fine...hopefully they're not coming apart on you while you're knitting though.
Try casting on again with one of these methods that's most similar to what you've already learned.
