Does anyone have the main monologue for Flora in Tennessee's 27 Wagons full of Cotton?

I need it for an audition of Thursday!

I'm not exactly sure what is in the monologue, but it is when she describes her handicap and her sexual assault.

Thank you :)

How were women treated in 1945?

Im trying to give reason to why Tennessee Williams wrote about a women who is badly mistreated in his one-act play, 27 Wagons Full of Cotton. I want to see if there is a connection between how the women were treated during that time period, and how the woman in the play was treated.

Well this is a rather ambiguous question.1945 was the end of hostilities in Europe and Asia. When these occupied countries were liberated, the women who had collaborated with the enemy were harshly treated. The women on the allies side were doing most of the work normally performed by thier male counterparts. When hostilities ceased and the men returned to civilian duties, lots of women lost thier jobs. This was always expected.
Not knowing this play I can't make a connection

27 Wagons Full of Cotton and other plays, Tennesee Williams ...

Like many fans of the American theatre, I am familiar with "A Streetcar Named Desire" and "The Glass Menagerie" by Tennesee Williams. I was not familiar of this collection of one-act plays. They are brilliant and inspiring at the same time. Most are set in the South the rest in the Midwest or West. All of them capture the essence of the human condition. One of my favorites is "Potrait of A Madonna". The heroine of the play is Miss Lucretia Collins, a mad, faded, belle, who states in all seriousness, "Your No'thern girls receive such excellent domestic training, but in the South it was never...
