100 Cotton Paper

I have this digital painting tutorial suggesting that cotton paper would be better for illustrations and scans, anyway, is 100% cotton watercolor paper available in the Philippines?

Are you looking for printer paper? An art supply store might have this one: Arches soft digital art print. It's pretty new and not cheap, but it's beautiful to print on.

If it's 100% cotton, then it would not be paper. The ink would soak in and spread out too much, so no, the pen would not work as intended, though it would spot the fake.

Well, if the Image Transfer works similarly to Emulsion Lifts, I would say that as long as the paper you're using is completely acid free, you should be set for colorfastness. Now the dyes used in the Polaroid process are somewhat susceptible to UV light, so try to keep it away from black lights and bright light from windows, but all in all, you should be somewhat set.

Normal day to day exposure to the normal indoors amount of light should take a while until fading sets in.

The problem with the egg drop is that the impact of the egg hitting the ground needs to be spread out and not focused on the egg. If you put the egg in a small cardboard box, with about 2-3" of cotton surrounding it and softly packing it in, it should work. You could even crumple paper up and tape it to the outside of the box to make a softer landing!
I know this should work because I did a similar thing, with the egg inside a giant plastic easter egg and packed in flower arrangement gelatin. In that case the outer case cracked but the egg was fine.

I have paper that is made from 100% cotton! That is really cool cause cotton is natural and biodegradable. Why arent there companies out there that take uses cotton items and turn it into eco friendly paper producs, like copy paper and paper bags and the like? I think someone needs to adopt this idea and start recycling cotton. I just recently threw away about 100 old t-shirts, and felt horrible doing so. Any opinions accepted or ideas would be greatly appreciated :)

There is a company in the US that turns old bluejeans into building insulation. So there are companies out there that do recycle cotton. There is also at least one small "youth business" that reuses old clothing to make tote bags etc.

Keep looking.
