Stain Cotton Shirt

Any suggestions? I washed it in cold yesterday with tide. it is a bright colored cotton stretch t-shirt from gap. I didn't apply anything directly to the stain because i was washing it right away. I let it air dry last night...is it too late?

You can still save the shirt just put a little bit of dishwashing soap directly on the stain just a little dab right on the grease, the kind that cuts grease like dawn, and then wash as normal it should come out with no problems.

I have this awesome Red camel 100% cotton button up shirt that i only got to wear twice and well the 2nd time i wore it i was drunk wrestling my friend in a backyard.

I forgot all about it till after i had already machine washed and dried it and i look at the back and there are a few brown and green stains that must have come from that night.

Is it possible to get them out? if so how?

Okay you need to look for a bar soap called Fels Naptha (not sure of the spelling) usually it is at drugstores or hardware stores. It is an old fashioned hard soap that isn't hugely popular so it might be hard to find. I always used a bit of water to soften the bar (it is extremely hard) and
rubbed a lot but it took the grass/dirt stains out of my son's white football pants.

I have only worn this shirt twice, and under another shirt both times, but it already has big yellowed spots. I got one stain out before wearing it the second time, and it got new yellow spots.
I mean why does it stain more easily than other white, cotton shirts.

Could it be that the shirt on top of the white shirt transfered something?? Did you spray on perfume after you got dressed? Do you recall getting wet in the rain or splashed?

Did the white shirt sit in the laundry basket for some time befor you washed it and something stained it in there?

OR if you threw it in the basket, was it wet?? Could be a mold growing on the shirt because it was left wet in the basket?

Sorry more questions than answers. Figure out the time line of what happened and you will probably figure it out.

I can't seem to remove an ink stain from my cotton shirt. I've tried blotting it with alcohol. Putting Gain detergent and letting it sit for 5 minutes and rinsing. Shout doesn't seem to work either. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Aqua net hair spray maybe but DO NOT let the shirt dry out or put it in the dryer... it will set the stain! You can also try Goo Gone (they sell it at Lowe's). Last resort ... you can try sudsy ammonia in cold water. You may have to let it soak for DAYS but its a shot and it won't break down the fibers like bleaches might.Good luck!

how do you get a chocolate stain off a cotton shirt? its been washed twice - sponged once. the stain is on the Ferrari logo on the shirt, so please dont reply with anything that will make colours run. also its a £80 shirt so also, please no "uncertain" ideas.
